When I sent a record to Poland for I shit and stink it was around 10$ granted it was only one record. Personally I like being in the big mix and making those connections all over the world. Although I have been anxiously waiting for the mail so I can jump back in. D has mentioned his post is corrupt, maybe the disc is a coaster in a postal lounge by now! I sure hope not

No problem at all. I knew it would be high. I threw in two extra albums (album only not the artwork or sleeve), so that made it heavier.

Like I said, I don't mind or I would have made it as light as possible.

The last one I did I was sent a 7 inch because the member was sending from Europe.

Also didn't mind that, but he felt restricted by the cost. Would be nice if we could send 1,2,3 or more records without thinking about shipping cost.

Regionally that is not an issue. Internationally it might be for some.

I've been in twice and this is an awesome idea. I'm probably not doing a third one, just cause I've already had my fun.

But going forward it would be better for those who jump in. IMO.

I'm just back from a fantastic short trip to lovely England and when I came home, an amazing package was waiting for me :shock:

Thank you thrilla, I had none of these and I am thrilled to spin them all tonight! Here's what I got:
Black Radical MKII "Ripping up the Industry" 12"- never heard of that one before, but am curious to find out what it is
Fleetwood Mac "Tango in the Night" - never heard this before as well, but I love the cover and the album title already
Arrested Development "Ease my mind" 12" - Beautiful!
The Human League "Don't you want me" 12" - Love this song!
The Police "Regatta de Blanc" - I loved Police when I was younger! Can't wait to listen to this LP again!
Extreme "Get the Funk out" 7" - more 80's stuff - I love it!
Queen "A kind of magic" 7" - I love Queen!

They are all frisibies or trash to me. people give me vinyl as gifts so one day I buy a turntable and electronic is the in thing. Buy my lennon for 3 bucks laugh at my pearl jam. And Jack Johnson and Jimmy Eat World bother you? at least barnes and freaky nobbles can ship things. I dislike people that pretend to be interested. So sad about elliot smith. Go connor! (maybe rethink politics?) :?
