The first show of the 'Ape/Man Series'. Sometimes opens, making it's first appearance of the tour. Lovely version, really like hearing the effects still added back then. They rip through Grievance, Corduroy, Hail Hail and Animal. Nothing As It Seems is perfect, best of the tour so far. Ed then greets the crowd for the first time telling them as good as last night was, tonight's show will be a little different. Thin Air is another sounding perfect despite being placed between Even Flow and Habit. In a way it probably enhances the song. Habit is making it's first outing of the tour, which sounds great. The sequence of Untitled/MFC, Off He Goes and Daughter is a delight, a great flow I thought. Daughter is fantastic, Pete Townshend's 'I'm A Boy' is tagged towards the end. It's a real good overall performance. Not For You I thought was excellent, love that they'd end it like on the album. Musically, Immortality is majestic; so good that you forget Ed's lyrical flubs. Rearviewmirror closes the main set.
A very good Light Years starts off the encore and is followed by the high tempo of Do The Evolution and Last Exit. Small Town and Black (perfect as ever) drop the tempo. There is no second encore here so it's Alive that brings the show to a close.
A good boot but I'd rate night 1 over night 2.

Heard You Are yesterday evening for the first time from my new Bootleg and it really knocked me out ! I was in Berlin for my first gig and so I thought it was my excitement but now I can say this sounds really awesome. I can just recommend this Berlin Bootleg!
I was in Leeds too and it seems that I got two of the best gigs from this tour! Just have to wait a little bit longer for Leeds Bootleg. But over all these two gigs did compensate me for all the years I couldn´t make it to a show! It was even better as I expected it would be.
Now I will listen to the last disc from Berlin´14 ! Hope you will feel the same.... ^:)^

For the second show in a row, Sometimes opens the set. Breakerfall and Grievance aren't the strongest performances it has to be said. Given To Fly and Animal just sound on the money, NAIS solid once again. Off He Goes is special, absolutely beautiful. WMA is tagged onto the end of Daughter. It's high tempo for the rest of the main set with Rearviewmirror, Alive (during the final solo, Stone's guitar goes but Mike carries on) and Go .
Evolution kicks off the encore. Lukin is a bit of a mess really, at the end it sounds like Matt intends to go into Not For You but then cuts its short as no-one else does. Eventually they play Wishlist. Save It For Later is included on Betterman. The final 2 songs of the night are taken from Ten and not what you'd expect - Garden and Black. It's actually the first play of Garden in 5 years, the last time being at Red Rocks '95. it's a beauty. Black to close is a strange one, it doesn't feel like the show should end with it.

After incredible starting trio, there is this incredible block in the middle; Severed Hand-I got shit-Amongst the waves-Rain-Even Flow-Sirens, which take the show to an unbelievable level. And at the end of the main set Do the evolution-Rearviewmirror just kills it. First encore is quality and then second encore is like bring-all-the-fun-in the universe-to this building-and let it finish at the top.

I can just recommend this Berlin Bootleg!
I was in Leeds too and it seems that I got two of the best gigs from this tour! Just have to wait a little bit longer for Leeds Bootleg. But over all these two gigs did compensate me for all the years I couldn´t make it to a show! It was even better as I expected it would be.
