If they do a reissue then please don't do it so that we get emails only to find it sold out and on ebay for 4/5 times the price...

They should do a times edition. Send out an email early. A day or two. Put it up for 2 hours then closed the pre sale.
  • it's funny how, listening to the show and seeing a pic of the how understated the stage setup was, the two don't jive.

If they won't re-release it, what about the first 3-4 songs on a 10" single?

    Or even 3-4 random songs.

    Please?

  • I would gladly pay double a normal vinyl especially if they want to give half of proceeds to charity. As much as I love that show I just can’t stomach paying 2k+ for one

    Yup.

This reissue is a no-brainer. Release it on standard black vinyl. Hell, even use the typical Vault packaging. That way those that have the OP won't complain about the value going down and those that actually want to SPIN IT can actually do just that.
    I LOVE MUSIC.

    Yup. Do it 10c!!
  • Record Store Day isn’t going anywhere so I think it’s inevitable. I have a feeling it’ll be Lost Dogs next, followed by Benny a couple of years down the line.  20th anniversary releases in both cases.

Hopefully this will actually happen someday...

  • I have a Benny and I hope it gets reissued. Every PJ fan should be able to experience this show on wax. It’s getting close to Xmas time and that is Benny season for me 😎
  • I've got the bootleg that doesn't sound too bad, but would happily buy the real deal.

It is possible it never gets a vinyl rerelease.  It was limited edition when it came out (sold out in about 2 days).  You never know.  If it does get a reissue, I hope it doesn't take up a vault (love unlreased stuff for vaults).  Maybe it could be a barebones RSD release or something.

That would be something else. An edition of let's say 6000? Too much?
    4LP set. Black vinyl edition.

I would hope it would be at least that many. I would like to get one without the inevitable flipper surcharge.

I'd say 7500, but it's a mythical item, maybe demand would be higher?

If you want to phone to phone it in for a few years of RSD's, release it in volumes :)

Sounds good. 7500 RSD store release. 2500 10club exclusive RSD release.
  • Maybe if we’re are so annoying everyday they will do it just to shut us up
  • How much are these going for nowadays? Sealed or opened?
