Why because you state absolutely no sources or dates to back the info up or because there is nothing in this news that is reliable in any way other than that you sparked excitement in people. I already said you may be right, but who in the PJ camp would allow you to spew this out before dates are set?

I tend to believe things that are posted in the sticky section and will when the news is there. You state plan your trip now. How exactly are we to do that? Should we book every flight, bus or train in August that leaves for Chicago? should we tell our bosses we need the whole month of August off and maybe a week in September to attend the Toronto Film Festival in hopes that Pearl Jam is there?
Well I hope you don't stay away because of guys like that. I like the info regardless. I think confirmation and the teaser for the TO film fest is great. Now...if I also heard they are playing somewhere other than Toronto..but also in Canada and more towards the Atlantic Ocean..I would be thrilled!

Ok fair enough, there is still speculating to do but if Neily's info is correct then you do know more than before. You know it's not at Grant Park or The Gorge so you can at least make arrangements with friends in the area assuming you have any left after the amount of shooting board members comments down in flames on practically every thread on the forums! Honestly your comments spoil my enjoyment of reading threads on here sometimes as the topic in question usually gets abandoned and taken over with back handed responses to your know it all negative comments. You should learn to communicate with some manners here and stop sitting by the sumbit button waiting for threads to jump on. No offence....

ok - so my Dad just phoned me back at 12:41pm est 02/04/2011
and PJ20 is going to be shown at the Toronto film fest - not playing games but he was NOT able to confirm a performance or a PJ show on that day, just that the film will be shown there -
I can back up Neilybabes saying yes the film will be shown there according my dad... thus far

I don't think it's a bad thing to book a refundable hotel before anything gets announced. In fact I encourage it seeing as the rates will jump sky-high once it is announced. A plane is a different story.I think everyone and their mothers are assuming aug 27/28. Also ppl think it is Chicago or alpine. Thanks for the info however vague it may be
