Hi Dimi - great contest!
Does the Gorge set also count? There is that hilarious moment on Gorge 23rd July 2006 where Ed asks the crowd:
How many people vomited last night? Alright, I'll start. ... How many people vomited on someone that they care about deeply last night? ... How many people vomited on a stranger and now tonight they're dating them for the first time?

And of course I go with the others on the Berlin moment
Good luck to all!Post edited by Leezestarr313 onPlease, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0 -
I have so many favourite moments from the boots that I have...
Buffalo 2010---when Ed starts over on Fatal.
Toronto 2005 --- Bono sings RITFW with Pearl Jam.
Washington --- Band quits Evacuation early.
Toronto 2009 --- The story of Toronto Island.
Seattle 2009 --- Supersonic lyric changes.
San Diego 2009 --- Happy Birthday to Lulu.
I could go one but I really, honestly, 100% love every single moment of all the boots I own. (42 in total)
I hope I win. I think I would cry if I did. :-)Gibson19720 -
I think the little story Ed tellls about sound check before playing Ain't talking bout love in Hartfod in 2010. OTOTOTO. If not that, one of my favs it be Ed singing with Thunder and Lightning in Milwaukee in 95 - Forever in Blue Jeans
Thanks D! Awesome giveaway0 -
FIRST AND FOREMOST - A GREAT BIG THANK YOU!
philly 4 - hands down. pearl jam has always gotten me through the worst times of my life. my brother was also a pj lover. in the past he has bought me the msg dvd and tix to concerts. he passed the year before. he was very close w/2 of my cousins. i purchased tix from 10c for philly 4 - only to learn i was in the next to last row! ok - i can deal - just happy to be there. left my seat prior to the show starting for a bathroom run and get back to my seat to see my 2 cousins. they were sitting in the row in front of me and my son! my son also wore my brother's watch that night so 'his uncle could be there with us.' after seeing my cousins who purchased their tix separately from comcast, i knew my brother was there with us. that next to last row just didn't matter anymore! AND IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING 3 1/2 HOURS OF MY LIFE!!Post edited by MD97728 on0 -

Austin City Limits when Eddie is explaining how him and Ben Harper stayed up all night the night before the festival right before they broke into Red Mosquito. It doesn't hurt that I was there to witness it.0

Favorite bootleg moment...
People Have the Power from Buffalo 2003. It's one of my favorite covers.
Thanks for the contest, D.0 -
2000 Merriweather Post Pavilion.
Not only my first PJ concert, but Sonic Youth was supposed to open. This isn't on the boot, but Thurston (the lead singer of SY) had a family emergency and the announcer came on to say that the crew needed 30 minutes for a change over and PJ would start a little early. However; Ed came out and did about 5 songs with the remaining SY members then did a 15 min. ukulele set before PJ came out. Awesome.
Then they were about to end the entire night with ledbetter, but Ed stopped Mike and they huddled and began to play RITFW! Ed declares, what better place to play this song! (not to far from DC)
Dimi you rock0 -
Thanks for the generosity. I needed to read something positive after sifting through the membership complainers
My favorite moment is Philly Spectrum II ... They come out to the Rocky theme and then explode into Animal...The hair on my neck was bristled like a cat.Reading PA 2004
Virginia Beach outside in the grass 2008
Philly Spectrum night 2 2009
New York MSG night 2 2010
Montreal Bell Centre 20110 -
My favorite is when Eddie and Mike were bantering back and forth at Philly 4 about their moms and Kiss. That was classic."I read about the evils of drinking, so I gave up reading." - Henry Youngman0

it was a tape of a tape that I copied from someone in college- I dont remember what show it was from, somewhere in England in 1992 maybe? EV changed the lyrics for Evenflow to some inappropriate lyrics regarding a woman's monthly...."rest her head on a pillow made of tampax....Evenflow!!".
That was one of my first bootleg memories and it was the first thing that came to my mind when thinking how to respond to this thread.
Thanks Dimitris for this chance and for you! You are such a gift0 -
Madison Square Garden - May 21, 2010 for one of the most recent favorites was Ben Bridwell (sp?) and Eddie doing "Hunger Strike". Turned out to be so good and just a total surprise.
Thanks for this opportunity!0 -
Another incredible D contest...thanks man.
Ahhh...Many memories come to mind. One fav is Betterman from MSGII '10 where the energy and volume of the crowd sing-along throttles everyone including Eddie. Crazy loud and crazy good.0 -
Interstellar Overdrive Noblesville In...what a great surprise opener for me...thx0
-
The 20 minutes or so around Black into the speech into Come Back into Alive at the Berlin show. Don't think anything will top that, and i was mere feet away from the stage for that.0
