    wow....great giveaway, way too generous

fav. moment might be when somebody holds up a sign at a MSG show (I think) asking to play rockin in the free world with the band, and eddie calls them out saying it's only 3 f'n chords. I laughed so hard when I first heard that.

8/24/09 Chicago - After a nine year wait between PJ shows (long story, don't ask), my wife and I are sitting in our first set of 10C seats. The band opens with an amazing version of Hard to Imagine.

Favourite moment would be the first sound on the 27/11/2009 Auckland bootleg. Finally being able to listen to the (decent quality/official) bootleg of a show I attended in my home town.

Chicago 10/9/2000 - Ed is playing "Soon Forget" and the audience is clapping off beat, and he says, "Rich people can't keep time, either..."

Someone likely already put this -- but on October 31, 2009 - the last Spectrum show, Ed brought out an elderly man who worked at the Spectrum since it started - Ed gave him an awesome intro and the crowd melted down. The old man said a few words and went away.
Oh, and this happened I believe to kick off an amazing version of 'Daughter' which included a slide in and out of Pink Floyd's 'Another Brick In the Wall.'
    Awesome moment!

  • Dimitris..
    Let me see...
I have several favorites moments from "PJ Bootlegs". For me "Touring Band 2000" was a great tour.... Milan with the people singing loud. Katowice 2nd night was awesome too. The feeling was incredible.
2003, i choose Mexico City July 19th: Stone's birthday, mariachis, guantanamera and one of the GREATEST LIVE VERSION of JEREMY.. just listen up the crowd, makes me feel jelousy.
2005, My show, because i've been there. Sao Paulo December 2nd, and Eddie saying "this is better than Seattle"..
2009, I like the Gibson Bootleg with Jerry and Chris..very exciting.
    A ver si hay suerte...
    Nos vemos Dimitris

Awesome... This makes me so happy, love the intro to Brother on August 24th 09

"this one is old enough to drive and soon it will be old enough to drink..." they just crank into Brother, very memorable moment for me as I was there and got to hear a song live I thought I would never ever ever hear

    Thanks Dimitri!

Mine has to be from Jazz Fest 2010; there with my then-fiance of one day (we got engaged the day before Jazz Fest - and married 10/2/10!) and me (the PJ nut) wanting to get up super close to the stage and there being a million people and her (the PJ fan) sticking it out and getting super close to the stage with me and then taking a super awesome picture of Ed during "Kick Out The Jams." Awesome!

I don't know if this counts since it was a solo show, but listening to Eddie play the lullaby version of Betterman at the Ryman night 1 is magical. His story of his friend who works at the Ryman telling him what he tells every artist before they go onstage to "play what got you here". That and the "Believe You Me" snippet was stunning.

fav moment is Eddie saying to the Montreal people in 2003 (# 60) after the show is over:

    "You're beautiful"

so simple and so heartfelt. such a cool thing to say to fans!
  • Opening chords of Hard To Imagine from Boston 1 '08 was pretty special. One of my favorite songs ever and I got to hear it live. Goosebumps.

Thanks for another amazing giveaway D!

No memories as I still haven't been to a show, but I'm lovin' the gift from you..it is almost as good as being there. Your generosity is incredible!
