No memories as I still haven't been to a show, but I'm lovin' the gift from you..it is almost as good as being there. Your generosity is incredible!
Really ? Wow. I wish I was in your position in some sort of weird way. May I suggest you pop your cherry at the Pearl Jam weekend bash, if you are able to. From the perspective of someone who has seen them 20 times, I'd trust me.

At the Gorge 05/06 when they got the crowd to try and get Tom Petty to come out, "hello Tom! Come down Tom!" Even though he didn't that was pretty cool.
I think I'll have to agree with you, a cool moment.
One of my favorite PJ concert moments was in Irvine on 6-2-03. When Eddie told the story of himself at the same venue just before he went to Seattle to join Pearl Jam. He was there watching the Battle of the Tribes in which Soundgarden was playing as he was introducing Matt Cameron on drums. Special to me because I was at that show as well. Good times!!!!!
Thanks for the chance.....
Dimi, you're the king of the Pj forums! (Thanks for the add on FB as well!)
My favorite moment from a bootleg:
Seattle Nov 6 2000..the introduction to Leatherman..
Eddie started to mention what the next song would be, and before he could say it, I screamed "LEATHERMAN!!!!!" at the top of my lungs..I was in the rafters, basically, and no one around me knew what the hell I was screaming about, as I guess most of them didn't know what Leatherman was..EVERYONE turned and looked at me like I was completely nuts..of course, I didn't care, I was in such a crazed state..LOL. And it's a bonus, cuz if you listen carefully to the bootleg and on the DVD (touring band), you can hear me scream it!!
I drove alone for 3 hours (and home, alone at 3 in the morning through the mountains while it was snowing/freezing rain, and I didn't even know how to use my headlights on my car yet) to go to this show, and it was absolutely the most AMAZING and exhilarating time of my life..
Another fav moment(s) from this show? Eddie singing some alternate lyrics at the end of Betterman, never heard him sing it that way before (or since), and long story short, it was as if he literally reached into my head and heart and ripped those words from deep within me..it was perfectly fitting to my life at that moment in time. It was magical..and I was instantly a pile of tears
And an unbelievably hard desicion about my life was made at that very moment..and I put my absolute faith in the power of that moment for me, and went with it..The rest is history..
Thanks for listening

London just being there thats my favourite thing .
i met this bloke that was going to every single show and we had a great time we were going meet up but never did just wish i took his name
You're the king D. Just like Eusébio
boots, oh boots...''I'm gonna sing the first line of this famous new zealand song...i've got you and that's all i want...that one is for her, this one is for you...''
1st boot i got: Melbourne 3/17/95, Blood into Porch, ''Do you know what NW stands for?, etc.''
One of latest i heard: México, where the 'it's ok tag' turns into 'está bien'...just stoked me
Thank's for a chance
The best on bootleg for me would have to be Mansfield's Better Man from 6/28/08. Although some people thought the setlist was bland, that track is just magic. How long the audience holds the cheer is great and it shows how interesting bootlegs can be when you don't base them upon their setlists.
Cleveland May 2006 - The band comes on stage. Eddie strums the start of betterman and the crowd goes crazy. When it is time to sing, Eddie just plays and the whole arena is singing the first verse. It was amazing! I get goosebumps everytime I listen to it.
My fave moment is from my first ever show at Columbia when they played Education. Me and my younger brother (also his first show) were talking about how wed both love to hear our favorite off of Lost Dogs but thought "yeah right, they've played that what, 5 times?"
Melbourne,November 20 2009, Etihad Stadiun, just before he sang Given To Fly, Ed pays tribute to Tigers superstar Matthew Richardson, who was in the audience.
I like the part from a Chicago show in 09 where Eddie calls the guy out for wearing a "no Evenflow" shirt and offers to help back Mike up in killing the guy. "We take request, not orders."
Dimitris!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So many moments to choose from but....off the top if my head Red Mosquito at Hyde park, London last summer. We'd been having the usual pre-gig chats like ' what will the setlist be today and what songs do you want to hear the most etc'. My friend Mark (Bell) was desperate to hear Red Mosquito but we wre like 'nah, they never do it'...so when they started playing the first few chords, we both went mental to it!!! Could not believe they actually played THAT song, they don't hardly ever. It topped off an already perfect day!!! I love hearing it on the bootleg as it takes me back to that moment everytime and I remember how happy it made Mark to finally hear it live!!! :-D

During the second encore, CJ Ramone came out to play "I Believe in Miracles"; to me it was my first of many favorite PJ moments!
Thanks for the chance!!

Such an awesome contest, many thanks for doing it.
My favorite is the Cincinnati '06 show. The same building were the tragic The Who event took place. Love Boat Captain starts up and Ed talks overtop it telling the story of The Who and Roskilde. The was just an amazing an very emotional part. I'm in the building so many times in a given year and each time walking through those doors it's hard not to think about the people that died there just trying to get in to see an awesome rock concert. Hearing Ed talk about it and hearing Love Boat Captain was just surreal.

Ed says (in Greek) "We always wanted to play in Greece. I toast to the fact that finally arrived in Athens. Now we can retire!"
Then roll in the boooos from the crowd, because obviously nobody wants them to retire... and then rolls in Elderly! I JUST WANNA SCREAM HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Priceless to hear,, priceless to have been there, last day of the EU 2006 tour... Please come back!!
Another great offer! Dimi you rock! Anyway ny favorite moment wasn't during an aactual show but it was BEFORE and AFTER the Philly Night 4 show. We had an absolute blast partying in LOT G2!!! Tons of friends and tons of good times!!

MPLS 98....My First show and I went with a guy who taped the show himself. It was before all these soundboard recordings were out. It was an amazing show, and to get the actual boot on cassette, yes cassettes were all we could get back then....and one that we actually recorded ourself makes it even more special.
What a great show and experience for my first show.

Superb offer again Dimi!! Thanks again for this great chance. Best moment for me is difficult but I'm going to say The End/Just Breathe in Berlin. That was such a great high energy gig at times but everything seemed to stop for these songs and they completely blew me away how beautiful they were in that venue!!

Rearviewmirror... improv in middle of Jam..."I was wrong, but you were wrong too..." absolutely LOVE that version.
Not to mention the Black version with we belong tag...oh, and ridiculously insane verion of Betterman...
Incredible concert....
