Just got my vinyl copy of this album. There has been vinyls that have definitely sounded better than CD or MP3, but in my opinion, this one blows every other sound away. The vinyl is literally perfect.
Can't wait to listen to it! I think it sounds really good is because they recorded it on analog.

Still need to buy this on CD. I was told that they all come with a piece of a master tape from the record...is this true?

Very true. I think the tape would be worth it alone.

I know it's been said, but damn this is a great record, just flat-out awesome!

It can't be said enough...i was about to reiterate that point myself...flat-out awesome is correct.
I can't stop listening to it....I've tried to put something else in but it never lasts long
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

I'm the same, I'm trying to limit myself because I don't wanna wear it out, but at the moment nothing is coming close!

Awesome. :D I gotta say that Foos really promoted this album well, from the Facebook "radio", free album preview and releasing the documentary on national TV prior to the album going on sale, as well. And the bonuses of the Ed Sullivan theater and this link above showcasing the entire album? God, if only PJ's management could do justice like this... Great album + Innovative marketing + good PR = Magic!

It also helps that Dave Grohl doesn't age!! :D

Haha that is so true. He actually doesn't.
He looks older in photos and then I met him and he looked SO YOUNG. I was really surprized!
Pearl Jam Pearl Jam Pearl Jam!

I'm looking to buy a single ticket to Ed's Sydney Opera House show, PM me if you've got a spare! I don't care where the seat is! :D

Damn. I missed the live performance. I saw they posted it on Facebook. I'm sure the whole thing will be available.

But I'm going to go with what people are saying, this album is truly great. Like people were saying, I'm trying to limit my listening so I don't wear it out but IT'S TOO DAMN GOOD!!

Alright, I was wrong - the whole album is awesome. Just good old-fashioned rock & roll. :D

youngster played me this in the car yesterday. I came home and played it once again and then another time today. It's not bad. Certainly not anywhere close to Colour and Shape, but it's not bad. I thought their last few albums were just awful, so this is a nice rebound for Dave and co.
