Thanks. I'll probably know by then as I may just drive across town and pick it up at the local record store, but let me know anyway.

I don't know if anybody has mentioned this or not but I think the album cover is terrible. I know it's whatever, as long as the music kicks ass, which it does but still.

I would listen to the Foo Fighters to prepare for the album, but I find myself listening to Nirvana's "In Utero" instead. At least it has Dave Grohl in it.

I never could get in to Nirvana (Kinda hate them), are Them Crooked Vultures any good?

It took me a while. I wasn't really into them at first but they slowly grew on me (and that's because Pearl Jam was the first grunge band I heard). "Nevermind" is legendary, but "In Utero" made me a fan.

The first song from "In Utero" blew me away. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aztw2s3PZzY

Haven't really heard Them Crooked Vultures, but I know a lot of people around here like them. At some point I'll take a listen.

I don't know why but that song was unlistenable to me! :?

That was probably a bad one to start with. :? I'm sure at some point you'll go back and give them a listen. I remember 4 years ago I didn't like U2 and couldn't get into them and then on Christmas Eve of 2007, I got "The Joshua Tree" and that made me become a big fan of them.

I watched the doc last night and loved it. I had no idea how little I knew about this band.

Funny how they were so fractured making One by One, and it turns out it's one of my favorite albums!

Can't wait for my CD! I listened to it streaming, but on my stupid work PC.

God I hate North Carolina. Apparently there is only 1 vinyl copy of "Wasting Light" in the entire Raleigh/Durham area. It's all the way across town and is more expensive than any other place I've seen it listed so far. I knew I should have pre-ordered but I would have thought a major release like this wouldn't be so difficult to find. Live and learn I guess. I bet there are plenty of copies of the friggin' "Country Strong" soundtrack to be found. (sorry had to vent)
