One of my favorite places on the planet. I spent all of my summers there growing up. There is nothing like a sunset on Lake Michigan. Thanks for the memory!

Short Sands Beach in York Maine, nice little beach. Great inexspensive place to visit!
Easton's Beach New Port RI, spent a lot of days there as a kid growing, nice to have aunt/uncle who live there
Silly me I never thought of Maine as having beach, pictured it too rocky
looks beautiful with the umbrellas and look at the houses in the distant
with the lush yards...nice...when I win the lottery
nothing like a little sand volleyball...those were the days!
Maine is Great very laid back, can let my 13 yr old daughter and 14 old niece walk around town in evening and feel comfortable about while we sit in one the local bar/resturants and watch a spectacular moon rising out of the ocean, I got to remember to bring camera next time to capture it if we time it right. My daughter and niece love riding through the area you can see with homes and play I am living in that home some day, I sure hope so, LOL!
I always wanted to go to Acadia National Park
clocks a tickin

This is my second favourite beach at the Outrigger Resort, Fiji. We got hitched here in that chapel overlooking the sea. So stunning at night too

Sunrise/Sunset either way it is so beautiful. Although I'll probably take sunset, since that is when I'm awake.

I think I'd like to go to the beach now. This thread is kind of torturous during work.

that is Australia, yes? Those upright rocks really neat but treacherous.
I looked it up and it listed over 50 shipwrecks! Beautiful picture, thanks for posting
oh well nevermind
It must get its name from shipwrecks too...?
the rocks look the same as in Australia pics
Ominous picture I love it![/quote]
Yes that picture looks like something from that movie *Goonies*. I was thinking west coast somewhere.

A brave (and possibly brain damaged) surfer paddling out into the cold and danger filled waves along Shi Shi beach along the Olympic penninsula.

Here is one more ... for memories
That bench looks lonely, however it fits the scenery.
Now here are a few pictures from our beach where I live in Lake Worth, Palm Beach County Florida. It's about 15 miles away which I love to ride my bicycle and ride the Lake Worth bridge one of the few uphill climbs in Florida. Below, the Lake Worth pier after Hurricane Francis in 2004.
Bennie's On The Beach restaurant, great food while at the beach and was able to survive the hurricane of 2004
Completed Pier that i think cost 5 million to repair
Surfing off the Lake Worth pier

A little further north The Breakers and just off it is great for diving and snorkeling for unknown objects in the ocean.
