This is my favourite beach, Semaphore Beach. I live and work here and every year we have one of the biggest kite festivals in the world.
That is one cool picture
When the kids were small we would go down to the lakefront in Milwaukee and fly kites...
lots of others there too doing the same. This picture brings back happy memories for me
Thanks!
Wickaninnish Beach,Ucluelet,Vancouver Island B.C. ... wild and beautiful
Don't forget South Beach...just a short stroll away, the best sounding waves, ever. Florencia Beach is my favourite on that side of the Island.
I found this pic
Love the pines framing the waters edge... beautiful
I noticed a lot of driftwood in some of the other pics
I have great memories of long water walks admiring the driftwood on the way, weathered wood,
natures nice addition to any body of water
thanks for sharing!

Say is this the place where there was video of the sunami retracting then crashing the beach? It sure looks like it.

I looked it up and it listed over 50 shipwrecks! Beautiful picture, thanks for posting

I wish it was Australia as I've never been there before! Actually, this photo is from Washington State along the Olympic peninsula.

Life certainly is good. Although, at least 50% of the time the beach is covered in thick heavy fog- especially in the summer.
