    Silly me I never thought of Maine as having beach, pictured it too rocky
    looks beautiful with the umbrellas and look at the houses in the distant
    with the lush yards...nice...when I win the lottery :lol:

    nothing like a little sand volleyball...those were the days! :D

    Life certainly is good. Although, at least 50% of the time the beach is covered in thick heavy fog- especially in the summer. :lol::lol: I love it though.

    I would think that fog would look really cool laying over the water...
    then as it gets burned away by the sun maybe some beautiful reflections of light.
    Can't go wrong in nature :D

    I found this lovely sunset of Kapalua Beach, almost a heavenly feel
    wonderfully romantic for a honeymoon...congrats on your lasting love and life together :D

    Maine is Great very laid back, can let my 13 yr old daughter and 14 old niece walk around town in evening and feel comfortable about while we sit in one the local bar/resturants and watch a spectacular moon rising out of the ocean, I got to remember to bring camera next time to capture it if we time it right.My daughter and niece love riding through the area you can see with homes and play I am living in that home some day, I sure hope so, LOL! :lol:

    Ya on Maui it has to due with what side of the volcano you are on it literally creates a desert and rain forest within 5 miles of each other only place in the world as far as I know and as travel through rain forest area it is all black sand beaches, spectacular!

    This is my second favourite beach at the Outrigger Resort, Fiji. We got hitched here in that chapel overlooking the sea. So stunning at night too :D

    That bench looks lonely, however it fits the scenery.

    Now here are a few pictures from our beach where I live in Lake Worth, Palm Beach County Florida. It's about 15 miles away which I love to ride my bicycle and ride the Lake Worth bridge one of the few uphill climbs in Florida. Below, the Lake Worth pier after Hurricane Francis in 2004.
