Short Sands Beach in York Maine, nice little beach. Great inexspensive place to visit!
Easton's Beach New Port RI, spent a lot of days there as a kid growing, nice to have aunt/uncle who live there

Silly me I never thought of Maine as having beach, pictured it too rocky
looks beautiful with the umbrellas and look at the houses in the distant
with the lush yards...nice...when I win the lottery
nothing like a little sand volleyball...those were the days!
Oh I bet you do! ...what a lovely place to call home...Life is good!
Life certainly is good. Although, at least 50% of the time the beach is covered in thick heavy fog- especially in the summer. I love it though.
I would think that fog would look really cool laying over the water...
then as it gets burned away by the sun maybe some beautiful reflections of light.

that is gorgeous, vibrant blue...I guess some beaches are white, some black?
Ya on Maui it has to due with what side of the volcano you are on it literally creates a desert and rain forest within 5 miles of each other only place in the world as far as I know and as travel through rain forest area it is all black sand beaches, spectacular!

One of my favorite places on the planet. I spent all of my summers there growing up. There is nothing like a sunset on Lake Michigan. Thanks for the memory!

This is my second favourite beach at the Outrigger Resort, Fiji. We got hitched here in that chapel overlooking the sea. So stunning at night too

Sunrise/Sunset either way it is so beautiful. Although I'll probably take sunset, since that is when I'm awake.

that is Australia, yes? Those upright rocks really neat but treacherous.
I looked it up and it listed over 50 shipwrecks! Beautiful picture, thanks for posting
I wish it was Australia as I've never been there before! Actually, this photo is from Washington State along the Olympic peninsula.
oh well nevermind
It must get its name from shipwrecks too...?
the rocks look the same as in Australia pics
Ominous picture I love it![/quote]
Yes that picture looks like something from that movie *Goonies*. I was thinking west coast somewhere.

That bench looks lonely, however it fits the scenery.
Now here are a few pictures from our beach where I live in Lake Worth, Palm Beach County Florida. It's about 15 miles away which I love to ride my bicycle and ride the Lake Worth bridge one of the few uphill climbs in Florida. Below, the Lake Worth pier after Hurricane Francis in 2004.
Bennie's On The Beach restaurant, great food while at the beach and was able to survive the hurricane of 2004
Completed Pier that i think cost 5 million to repair
A little further north The Breakers and just off it is great for diving and snorkeling for unknown objects in the ocean.
