Kapalua Beach, Maui
Honeymoon, never seen or felt water that clear and warm, going on 19 years seems like last week
it's gorgeous, I so want summer now

Sunrise/Sunset either way it is so beautiful. Although I'll probably take sunset, since that is when I'm awake.
Here is one more ... for memories
That bench looks lonely, however it fits the scenery.
Now here are a few pictures from our beach where I live in Lake Worth, Palm Beach County Florida. It's about 15 miles away which I love to ride my bicycle and ride the Lake Worth bridge one of the few uphill climbs in Florida. Below, the Lake Worth pier after Hurricane Francis in 2004.
Bennie's On The Beach restaurant, great food while at the beach and was able to survive the hurricane of 2004
Completed Pier that i think cost 5 million to repair
Just (actually the beginning) of father winter hitting the border route trail along the Minnisota / Canadian border ... life is good ...
reminds me of my journey on the Apostle Islands
washing my hair in the ice cold lake
setting my sleeping bag on fire while watching an amazing meteor shower
having a river run through our tent
Great times some of the very best!! Life is very good!!!
This isn't a beach photo ... but it's near one ... enjoy
I miss my camping days...love living in the woods The smell is the best to wake up to laying there on the ground. Our dome tent had the screen ceiling window so when no rain was expected, no rain tarp needed, waking up looking at the leaves was nice too
very pretty picture
It definitely looks modest compared to all the great pictures on this thread, but this one is my favourite for it's my childhood beach, just a five minute walk away from my house then.

I think it beautiful and through the eyes of a child I'm sure magnificent...
most especially taking the shaded walking path with the rustic fence...
then running out into the sun, through the sand, to the waters edge
Lovely
When I was a kid parks looked so magical to me..rolling hills of bright green grass
swings, little duck pond. Ah, to see like a child again...

It seems that everything was bigger and peaceful .... harmless then. I guess that some places, once seen like this as a child, somehow remain this way no matter what.
I'd say we're both pretty lucky to live where we live. The PacNW is an amazing place. I miss the rain, the clouds, the smell and the light when I have to leave this area . . . So I try not to leave it too often

I am counting down the days! We vacation on Vancouver Island every year. This year we go in June! We are not going to make it to the Pacific Rim side, as we have opted to head across the Juan De Fuca Strait and then down the Coast of Washington and Oregon after our week in Sooke. We could not skip a week on the Island, though. We love the beaches along the Juan de Fuca Trail. China Beach, Mystic Beach and Botanical Beach are Faves! We like Sombrio, too...but the access road is to hard on the mini van!

That's awesome  We were just out at China Beach last weekend Your right about the roads out by Sombrio, they're horrible  We did the circle from Vic through Sooke, Port Renfrew, Lake Cowichan, Duncan and then back home. It was a great day
The WA and OR coastal drive is absolutely gorgeous. You'll have a great time

They are hills not mountains, but at some beaches you can see mountains, further north from Zadar.
There are many more beautiful beaches there.
God I miss that place, when will I be back now with a mortgage :(

It may not look like much, but I lived here for a year and it brought me a lot of happiness.
