I have 5 quick picks so far. Fiance has 20 combined quick picks with 2 of her co-workers. I'll prob pick up 5 more after work.

that I will be funding with my 1/2 Billion Dollars. :D

You all can thank me later ;)

I like the way you think! Might as well just find the biggest venue you can to be on the safe side. I'm probably going to want to bring a +1

Something is INSANELY wrong having that kind of money out there for someone to win. Good luck and don't go crazy.

It's going to get pretty scary at that point, I'm not even sure if I would want to win a billion dollars. Your whole life would be changed so drastically, you'd have to go in hiding.

Only if you happen to be the only winner...then you would be remembered and recorded as the largest winner of all time. Seems like a nightmare scenerio.

I was running errands and drove by my neighborhood liquor store (that has the best chocolate from England, btw) and I thought, what the hell, so I went in and it was a great cultural experience to see a cross section of LA people buying tickets:

Big loud guy in a bowling shirt buying mega millions tickets plus a bunch of scratchers.
Crazy looking lady with a ratty dog on a leash, mega million tix.
Botox lady in Juicy sweats buying a Diet Coke and mega million tix.
Middle aged man with two young kids, mega million tix, nothing for the kids.
Me with my chocolate, five mega million tix.

One of us has to win, right?

    bought my tix this morning...

not a huge line, but a steady stream of people were buying...

the store I went to has a self-serve lotto machine, I ended up helping a few people figure out how to buy the their tickets, guess they are the ones that never buy tickets.

no state taxes...and the 2nd largest Mega Millions jackpot was won by someone that lives here in Washington!
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
