but i dont think calling the 10c out on this issue is unwarranted.
the people with the deep pockets should understand that its not just the price but the principle, we basically now have to pay twice as much for our memberships in order to get a free t-shirt.
yeah, "enjoy the music" at twice the cost :?
And if you continue to pay $20 you're not getting anything other than 10C presale for the cost. This is probably useless for the majority of the members.
From my perspective, I'm only in the 10c for ticket access and they don't come here nearly as often as the States or Europe.
Believe it or not, they still go there more often than they tour the entire southern region of the USA.2003: San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Seattle; 2005: Monterrey; 2006: Chicago 1 & 2, Grand Rapids, Cleveland, Detroit; 2008: West Palm Beach, Tampa; 2009: Austin, LA 3 & 4, San Diego; 2010: Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbus, Indianapolis; 2011: PJ20 1 & 2; 2012: Missoula; 2013: Dallas, Oklahoma City, Seattle; 2014: Tulsa; 2016: Columbia, New York City 1 & 2; 2018: London, Seattle 1 & 2; 2021: Ohana; 2022: Oklahoma City0 -
I've had some time to digest this, and I've changed my tune on it. I say it's not a bad thing. Free T shirt without having to pay $20 int'l shipping? fine with me.Gimli 1993

Believe it or not, they still go within travelling distance of Texas many, many, many more times than most other regions of the world. What if you were a South African fan?Come to send, not condescend...0

Of course that's true and I have been fortunate to be able to travel to see them many times, but not everyone is that lucky. Pearl Jam is also an American band not a South African band. How many other American bands regularly tour in South Africa? If I enjoyed a band from South Africa I wouldn't expect them to regularly tour here.
With the exception of Austin and New Orleans last year, they haven't been a decent driving distance from Texas in a very long time...I'm talking at least a 12 hour drive to get to somewhere like Bonnaroo. Even New Orleans is over 8 hours from Dallas.2003: San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Seattle; 2005: Monterrey; 2006: Chicago 1 & 2, Grand Rapids, Cleveland, Detroit; 2008: West Palm Beach, Tampa; 2009: Austin, LA 3 & 4, San Diego; 2010: Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbus, Indianapolis; 2011: PJ20 1 & 2; 2012: Missoula; 2013: Dallas, Oklahoma City, Seattle; 2014: Tulsa; 2016: Columbia, New York City 1 & 2; 2018: London, Seattle 1 & 2; 2021: Ohana; 2022: Oklahoma City0 -

At the VERY least, I hope 10c doesn't go & put the analog membership t-shirt up for sale on the website, or anywhere else for that matter. PLEASE give ppl who are paying for the upgrade the peace of mind that this is an exclusive t-shirt, each year. If I see my cousin walking around in the same shirt, that she bought at Target just cause she "liked all the pretty colors," I might just have a fucking meltdown. And for fuck's sake, please tell me they will ask our sizes when we renew. If this is the only "upgrade" I'm getting in the "upgrade," I sure as hell wanna be able to wear it (if it ain't shit-ass ugly).
OK, I've said my piece.<a href="http://www.facebook.com/camragirl" target="_TOP" title="Colleen Halsdorff Palacios"><img src="http://badge.facebook.com/badge/601453432.7240.30463077.png" width="338" height="84" style="border: 0px;" /></a><!-- Facebook Badge END -->0 -
I like my membership, I like the fact that I have always been able to get tix, and I like the vinyl. That's worth the 40 bucks to me...... sorry if it's not for all of you." Jump from a cliff to fly, not to fall..."0

People are still worked up over two membership options that cost pennies a day..0

I'd have to agree with this. I was mad about it at first, but it's really not that big a deal. Everyone has a choice of what to do, too.0 -
Paul David wrote:wrong. we won't get the single or the mag mailed to us. and the people that say the complainers are so predictable, so are all the folks that come on here complaining about the complainers. pot? Kettle.
You will still get all the content you currently do. The medium is different, but the content is the same. You guys certainly have the right to bitch and moan about a band and fan club that for 20 years has done more for their fans than any other band in history. you are just wrong for doing so."I remember when you sang that song about today, now it's tomorrow and everything has changed." - Bu$hleaguer0 -

The digital content will be available for free once someone posts it, just like it always with.
