we need the show to be an extra 30 minutes now just to see the group siphon gas at a near by station?
i don't need to see that....i do need to see some common sense take over.
would you pick something like this
or something like this
depends how rare fuel is, whether youre trying to save some for a generator for the winter, noise that may attract zombies, plenty of reasons to pick a smaller car.
tons of empty cars along side the road. most trips they have made so far have only been a few miles.
i'd take my chances in a diesel powered 4x4 vs a little front wheel drive crossover. you can run over the zombies and not even feel them. stuck in the mud..ha...flip the 4x4 switch. need to haul shit...toss it in the bed. car blocking the road....drop it into 4 lo and push it out of the way.
i'd also look to bolt on a nice big steel gurad on the front end for zombie smashing fun.
They have a Dodge Ram pickup. Glen was driving it during the shoot out at the prison. I'm guessing they chose the Hyundai to go into town because it makes more sense if they are trying to conserve fuel AND need some cargo room for supplies. It is too bad they didn't find an all wheel drive variety of that car though!
I thought it was one of if not the best episodes this season.
Good to see Michonne open up a bit too.
If I was Rick I would have tried to get more guns from Morgan....no reason one dude needs the firepower for a small army. Well, at least they know where they can go to get more!

Diesel would even be harder to come by and most cars on the road dont even use it, so cant siphon any if you run out on a trip....
All BS aside. They obviously know where they are at because they found Rick's hometown. Why don't they just leave the prison and find a new spot. Avoiding the impending war with the gov. I guess we don't have a show if they do that. There are plenty of things that aren't great for the story.....Like where they poop
Last night's episode was vintage WD. I loved it!

Lots of diesel out there in truck stops.
You can make biodiesel with the right knowledge.
Gas will ultimately go bad and ruin the fuel system. I'll take my chance with diesel ocer the long term.
If you feel that the show is running slow and boring now, you are prob going to be disappointed with this tidbit on Season 4:
Paleyfest, an annual event that offers some pretty great panels and roundtables with cast and creatives from various TV shows, held its “Walking Dead” event this past Friday and, per EW, there were some pretty interesting revelations about Season 4.
Head below to check it out! One thing to be thankful for, Rick will stop hallucinating at some point.
Greg Nicotero the increase of character moments, “I think there may be a wee bit less of the run and gun. And [we'll] get a little more into some of our characters. The challenge with a show like this, when you have a big ensemble, is you don’t want any of the characters to get lost; it’s important that we know what Carol’s story is and that we know what Beth’s story is. And when you’re trying to service a lot of characters, it becomes challenging. Watching the first season of Walking Dead and seeing how grounded it was, that’s really important to all of us. Andy Lincoln and I spent a lot of time going through the scripts and making sure we feel that they’re grounded. Because that’s what keeps our audience coming back. The walkers and the gore and the action and stuff, that’s fun, that’s the popcorn part of it. But if you don’t have characters that people are invested in, you lose your audience.”
And so you see, I have come to doubt All that I once held as true I stand alone without beliefs The only truth I know is you.
I heard that next year, the Govenor and Rick become good buddies and everyone lives happily in the great town of Woodbury.
I was thinking something along those lines earlier. They team up and get rid of everyone.

And who's washing cars? That Hyundai seems awfully clean most of the time lol

It got some mud on it last week. What do you bet that mud is gone on Sunday and it has a nice wax-job?
Maybe the rain?
Whoa, I never thought this before....has it ever rained in an episode? I mean, it's Georgia for god sakes! It always seems like a nice clear and sunny day.

i don't recall any rain, but it's possible
even so, rain doesn't do a great job of cleaning a car.

That's true, but it's not like they can send Maggie out with a bucket and sponge to clean the cars. *Pictures Maggie in a bikini washing a car while covered in soapy foam*
Rain is better than nothin'.
I also wonder how rain would effect that zombie's ability to sniff out non-zombies?

I'm guessing Hyundai's sponsorship money is contingent on showing a shiny car lol.

Thanks for posting. I don't see how anyone can wear those crazy eye contacts. It's got to be uncomfortable.
No worries!
They all had those costumes on from 10-7.Some of them for 3 days.
I only went for the Saturday and my feet hurt at the end, I can only imagine how they felt.
Amazing costumes all around!
Thanks to all those involved.

But yeah....where are they taking dumps? Toilets don't work, they don't show anyone going out back to poop in a hole.
i'd say fuck it & go to a bigass lake and commandeer a bigass houseboat and anchor right offshore.
