2pm it is. $80 is a pretty good price. Ticketek sucks more than Ticketmaster. Limit of 4 is a bummer when you have a core group of 5 peeps that always go to shows together. The end.

the audience is old and crusty like the band... too many bad hips for moshing (heheh).

i jest, i jest. i would have thought pj's audience in 2009 would've been too old and senile to mosh but they were BRUTAL.

haha the PJ mosh looked SO SCARY from where I was. So did Them Crooked Vultures. Mosh is scary
I went in the field as ACDC and I didnt see the band at all, everyone round me was too tall

mosh pits are highly irritating. nothing worse than an unexpected boot to the head.

bit of a crush doesn't bother me, but it's the side-to-side that really sucks.

Yeah that would be annoying. It was bad enough at the Metallica merch stand, I was waiting up the front and when it opened all these pratty little boys surged forward and squished me.
Its a bit of a pain because I'd love to be up the front of my favorite bands but because of all the silly people who want to squash each other I have to miss out. Bands should have a little section right up the front that only fan club members can get in.

yes. yes they should... that would have been nice for us too. we got smushed when all the "normies" came in. actually Mt Smart was redonkulous because those fools working the tickets were letting everyone into the Fixer Field, when a lot of them only had Backspacer tickets. That would have explained some of the crush. That and rampant douchebaggery.

Worst crush I've been in though was the line to get INTO the red hot chili peppers at Queens Wharf in Welli in 1996. Bloody stupid. But no pushing inside. Then in 97 saw Soundgarden at the Town Hall and they were the neatest, straightest, most polite lines, and absolute carnage inside. I got punched in the face! I was 16! Ben Shepherd held eye contact with me as I was swallowed up by the mosh pit.

Ouch! Although the eye contact with Ben Shepard is pretty cool. Eye contact with a rock star is the coolest thing. I THINK (its sometimes hard to tell) i've made eye contact with Dave Grohl & Kirk Hammett at concerts. One I'm sure about is John Paul Jones, He actually smiled and waved at me
