yall couldnt have looked at fenway's avatar and figured out he was quite the stepbrothers fan? While I agree stepbros is pretty funny, I have to agree with most of the others, Fenway. The Hangover is quite hilarious. The movies that I do agree are better are: Old School & Anchorman. Superbad & Wedding Crashers are close. And these may not necessarily be "buddy" movies but I think Forgetting Sarah Marshall and I Love you Man were classics as well.

Correct. But those were 80s and 90s stupid buddy comedies. I'm talking since the turn of the century.

The movies you named above (Im adding Caddyshack and the Hot Shots movies as well) revolutionized the slapstick comedy genre. It was just one hacky bit after another with those films. I agree with you they are all better than the movies I listed from the last 10 years. Movies like Superbad and Old School are merely standing on the shoulders of giants.

Does anyone else think that a sequel to the Hangover is just a bad idea?
They caught lightning ina bottle, now they're gonna milk it for more money and the sequel will suck.
Probably a good career move for Mel to not be in it, that Beaver will probably be funnier if it sees the light of day.

I was so excited to see the Hangover, but was completely let down. I think I laughed once, during the scene when he gets zapped with the taser by the kid. I thought it was the most overrated comedy ever. Everything tried too hard to be funny. It was almost obnoxious. I like slapstick humor, but it has to have a subtle witty twist to it. Mel Gibson is better off not being part of the sequel. It's going to make lots of money, but will probably be stupid.

On the other hand, I wasn't expecting much out of the movie Step Brothers, but laughed my ass off, so hard I was crying during the sleepwalking scene..

I guess its all relative. To each their own.

The funniest movie ever hasn't been made yet and may not be made, and that is the Arrested Development movie.

It will probably have a few good laugh lines, but will be a shit movie.

the hangover fucking sucks... the hangover 2 will fucking suck... unless its just zach and ed ad libbing for 2 hours... fuck bradley cooper... not funny... he radiates douchiness

glad they were able to get another room full of stoned frat boys to write a sequel... maybe they can throw darts at cliche plot events again to sequence their story... maybe even get someone physically deformed for a few cheap laughs?? OH BOY

From what I read it was only Zach Galifianakis that seemed to have a problem with it at first. Then his bitchy attitude slowly turned others.

The Hangover was fucking high-larious! And it stands up to multiple viewings. I wonder if you have to be prone to such behavior to actually think it's funny. Maybe not. Anyway, I know funny, and it is. Still, a sequel is a bad idea.
