Yep, that's every church in the USA. What a dumb comment, from that preacher and you as well.

can you show us on the doll where the leftists hurt you?

    You use that attack often.
    Did u get rap*d as a child?
U saying they ain’t no wokers on here? Haha.

No my sister was  molested multiple times between ages 8-9. she was then beaten and raped about 6 ft from her locked front door at 14. she commited suicide in jan 88 about 45 days before her 16th birthday.

the molester died during that trial. no justice.

rapist 1st trial resulted in hung jury. she killed herself after that travesty. 2nd trial my fathet agreed to the plea deal of 6 months in jail.

rapist later died gutshot in a trash strewn alley aug 2 2006. I went to his funeral

you got something else to say funny guy?

no? show us on the doll.....
    Sorry to hear the news

but you are the one using the horrible imagery for humor and put downs.

As I recall, you had fuckstick winning all along , no? that being the case, no matter who  the D nominee was a losing proposition, no?

so maybe you need to decide whether being right or being happy suits you better.
Expecting a transformative socialist agenda winning elections in the current American political climate is unrealistic. And that’s the party’s answer to 2024. Brilliant.

You keep saying this, but continually saying it doesn’t make it true. Dem leadership is as centrist as they come. Look how few have come out in support of Mamdani..

Yes,because they see him as a path that goes nowhere in senate and presidential politics. Surprisingly they agree with me.  But look out for Alex and her team.

It's amazing how many of the posters on this page completely forget American National politics.

Any mention of any free program and that politician will be branded a socialist.

There will be no opportunity to explain that... well this is a lighter version of Denmark Democratic Socialism or the minor version of socialism that Canada has.

no they will be branded a socialist and that will be their image to voters and they will lose any race not with a deep blue population. Democrats have never proven that they could win this debate with swing voters
    this is your pessimism speaking.

they labeled Obama a socialist. And he won twice.

People want to be taken care of. You keep the message simple and say how you are gonna take care of them, it will resonate.

Like flip it around. Trump had his bullet points, rattled them off in every speech (somewhere in his weird ramblings) and people bought it, despite Dems constant claiming saying he'll destroy the country, wreck the economy, that he's racist, and that he's an idiot. How is that any different than calling someone a socialist? Its about making the connection and keeping the message simple.

It’s not just that one, it’s churches across the land preaching that kind of ignorance and stupidity to millions of Americans, who claim to be “Christian”, on any given Sunday.

Not nearly to the extent the US has, that’s for sure but ‘Murica is trying to export it as much as they can.

Doesn’t really work that way to moderate voters. There’s this weird fixation among many Americans that “ I could be the rich dude soon.” That’s why attacking tax cuts for billionaires works in blue states but doesn’t in many swing regions.

Reminds me of the West Wing episode where (D)President Bartlett vetoes  reductions to the “death tax.” When Leo tells him there’s a lot of support to override his veto, Bartlett is stunned. “How could that override be popular? The death tax is to help billionaires?” I wish I had Leo’s exact quote, but it was something to the effect people believe in the American dream, and they all believe that could be them benefiting from the estate tax

That’s what Dems get wrong time and time again.

regarding pessimism…someone said above that Dems should fire all of the old guard, Schumer, etc (lol they included Jeffries). I completely agree.  Next year they have four senate  swing state seats to defend with three retirements. And need to flip four more in either lean/ strong lean R states.

lets see what the AOC wing can do, in a year where net dem turnout should be better than average. Let them all run a mamdani like campaign. Free stuff for all. More Taxes on billionaires. Let them put up or shut up. House races don’t count.

Seems like the best place to put this.

Initial reports said the young victim was 5 years old, but the criminal complaint said he was 8. The child’s father told police his son is autistic, and due to his disability, he doesn’t understand typical social boundaries and requires intensive parental supervision. At some point while at the park in Rochester, the child took an applesauce pouch from someone else’s diaper bag, it said.

The father saw this and chased him to try to retrieve the food pouch. The defendant also saw it and chased the child, who climbed on playground equipment to try to get away. She repeatedly called him the racial epithet, the complaint said, and grabbed the food item from him.

A different person, who recorded the confrontation on his phone, asked her why she used the slur. The complaint said she admitted to using it and said she could “if he acts like one.” When pressed, the complaint said, she turned her anger to the witness, called him the same epithet, and when confronted about her “hate speech,” she used expletives to indicate she didn’t care.

This woman is clearly a horrible person, but is using a racial epithet a crime? I mean, I definitely would like to see some consequences for her despicable behavior, but it seems that may be best served in the court of public opinion and her needing to move. Would someone calling a little girl a bitch repeatedly under these same circumstance be subject to criminal charges? I may despise her speech, but it wasn't threatening. Could it be deemed hate speech just for using the n-word? I expect her to win the case and if not, this could be one that goes to SCOTUS as a challenge to the boundaries of free speech.

    It's a hopeless situation...

I'm not a legal scholar, but I think that word is hate speech. I'm going to think about the scenario of someone calling a little girl a bitch under the same circumstances, but my initial thought is no.

"Well, you tell him that I don't talk to suckas."
  • So, let me get this straight, freedom of speech means allowing a POS like Charlie Kirk to travel around the country and spew racist, misogynistic, bigotry and Nazi ideology but if you exercise your freedom of speech to criticize him and “celebrate” his death, not advocate for violence, but to say, “yea fuck him, good riddance,” you deserve to be doxxed and lose your job? Do I have that right? Where the fuck is the line drawn on what is “acceptable” free speech? Who decides? Can I burn a flag because I want to? WTF. Nothing like pumping that genie up and out of the bottle, eh? ‘Murikkka, what a shining light on a hill of a country.

People are getting fired for allegedly celebrating Charlie Kirk’s murder. It looks like a coordinated effort

For example, Canadian independent journalist Rachel Gilmore posted that she is “terrified” about retaliation from Kirk’s “far-right fans” after the shooting. That post is the first listed on the anonymous website, including a part where Gilmore said she hoped Kirk survives. She said in a videoonline that she did not celebrate Kirk’s death and said she hoped he survives in another post. She also said she received a “tsunami” of threats and called the last 48 hours of her life “a living hell.”

Rebekah Jones, a former Florida coronavirus data scientist who in 2022 claimedthe state of Florida pressured her to manipulate pandemic data, said she contacted the police twice about death threats and about the “hit list,” her name for the anonymous site. Jones posted about Kirk on Wednesday, writing: “Save your sympathies for the innocent bystanders caught in the crossfire of MAGA’s violent political messaging machine.” The website republished that post along with other pieces of Jones’ personal information.

“It is absolutely fair to call it a coordinated harassment campaign,” said Laura Edelson, assistant professor at Northeastern University and director of the Cybersecurity for Democracy Project. “That’s absolutely why it exists, to coordinate and target the harassment toward the selected individuals.”

    Hammer. Nail. Head.

    This is our world.

WASHINGTON, D.C., Sept. 9, 2025 – If America’s colleges could earn report cards for free speech friendliness, most would deserve an “F”— and conservative students are increasingly joining their liberal peers in supporting censorship.

The sixth annual College Free Speech Rankings, released today by the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression and survey partner College Pulse, show a continued decline in support for free speech among all students, but particularly conservatives. Students of every political persuasion show a deep unwillingness to encounter controversial ideas. The survey, which is the most comprehensive look at campus expression in the country, ranked 257 schools based on 68,510 student responses to a wide array of free speech-related questions.

The rankings come at a notable moment for free speech on college campuses: clashes over the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, a vigorous and aggressive culture of student activism, and the Trump administration’s persistent scrutiny of higher education.

“This year, students largely opposed allowing any controversial campus speaker, no matter that speaker's politics,” said FIRE President and CEO Greg Lukianoff. “Rather than hearing out and then responding to an ideological opponent, both liberal and conservative college students are retreating from the encounter entirely. This will only harm students' ability to think critically and create rifts between them. We must champion free speech on campus as a remedy to our culture's deep polarization.”

When I comb through closed threads it seems as if shitty posts disappear? Are mods deleting posts that are dogshit without banning these posters? I kinda wish these “rules” were a little more clear. Threads get closed quite often with little or no explanation given.

Some get "closed for review," yet never reopened. 🤷‍♂️

Edit: Which results in threads like "Democrats" that was closed, leading to the "Ankle-biting Democrats" thread being revived after eighteen years. 😄

Not sure if they make posts disappear, but the mods definitely edit posts. Or at least I caught them doing it once. Here’s a screenshot from election night. Gimmesometruth was having a rough night as you may imagine, and when I dismissed his claim that “the game is rigged,” he responded either “Fuck you” or “Go fuck yourself” (can’t remember which) before the rest of his post. Notice how it says “edited by Kat” at the bottom. She removed the profanity.
