Good hearing you talk about it... Mcgrath and Warner were phenomenal.. Canada play in the odd world cup. Jon Davidson did well, hit the fastest ODI century one year... But he was practically Aussie... a fake Canadian...

Went to the big bash tonight, and the umpiring was disgraceful...

So Usman Kawaja gets out, caught behind, me and the rest of the crowd thought he missed the ball, but that I can take, that is an umpiring error but hey shit happens....

Next over Gayle gets given not out after a caught behind appeal. Then out of nowhere they refer it... What the fuck? He signals he missed it, I see a replay it looks like he missed it, infact I am confident he missed it, and 13000 fans at the ground thought he missed it, and then it would could only be described as farcical he is then sent on his way... after the 3rd umpire sees it.

This one I can not take...I am fairly confident he didn't hit it, but how could the 3rd umpire have no doubt in his mind and then send the biggest draw card on his way? I went to see Chris Gayle bat, and I, as a fan got ripped off. It affected the match, Sydney were all over. The game from that point on died a slow death. The worst officiating I have seen.

Luckily we got a great display by Mitch Marsh. That kid has game.

And Couter-nile is a gun in the field wow...

It's good to see them killing it....

All we need now is consistency, we have the talent there... but its no good if one test the top order performs, then the next test they don't.... same with middle order and the bowlers...

    So excited... :D

Poor old India.....couldn't happen to a nicer bunch

Be interesting to see what attack we go with against Pakistan now Monty seems to have his mojo back , think i'd go with Tremlett . Not convinced at all by Morgan as a test batsmen.

What a deadset bunch of sooks the Indians are.
Complaining that the pitch was ruined by the ground staff walking and sitting on it.
That is why we made 369 and they are struggling....

    P.S. Warner you little ripper!

Monty back hey? Might be a case for playing 2 spinners, surely it will spin in Abu Dhabi... Any other talent coming through since last ashes... Who is going to trouble us next year?

Aussie cricket is back according to Tony Grieg... So exciting...

We could play Swann and Monty but i reckon they'll go with Jimmy, Broad , Tremlett , and Swann, shame Bresnan isn't fit as he bowls well in these conditions.

Actually don't think this team will change much if you look at there ages, but there are some excellent young prospects like James Taylor , Jonathan Kerrigan , Ben Stokes etc .

Sounds like India have been even worse in Oz than they were over here.

And they only bowled for 60 overs or something...

But for most of the 60 overs they were chasing leather courtesy of D Warner...

So Lyon in the side for Starc you would have to think...

At the moment if Watson was fit, you would think in for Marsh...

Dhoni should have used him more.

I'd drop Harris and Keep Starc considering the amount of wickets he got compared to Harris.
Watson has to come in, we are talking about a Allan Border Medalist.
I'd drop Marsh if he keeps failing, put Watson in at 3.

They said they're going to rotate likely siddle for Lyon.

    Warner
    Cowan
    Ponting
    Clarke
    Hussey
    Twatson
    Gilchrist
    Harris
    Starc
    Hilfenhaus
    Lyon
Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.

Why the hell would they drop Siddle, he's taking wickets.
Or do you mean rotate as in rest?

Yeah. Good luck telling siddle that he won't be needed for Adelaide. He is a bloke that lives and breaths cricket. He is a champion.

They said they were going to rest pattinson for Perth but he got injured so they didn't really have to test that theory.

Starc is good. But he is definitely at the bottom end of our pace bowlers...

    Pattinson
    Hilt
    Siddle
    Harris
    Cummins
    Starc

(in no real order except for starc)

    And add to them

Johnson and bollinger who needs to lift their game

    It's exciting.

Yeh sorry. On iPad. Auto correct.

Bollinger is good, but not up to where he needs to be world class IMO. not from his last efforts for Australia.

And I put cummins up there only cause of reputation from the one test. I am desperate to see more haha

but that's the point on Bollinger, if you pick any of a bunch of one off tests, (looking about 12 months ago) then he'd be up there... think he's one of those on-his-day bowlers which isn't always a bad thing, thats all Binga ever was really - that and the speed

Must have been on his day a bit to get 300+ test wickets....

Doug is great, but at this point in time he wouldn't get a look in.

The interesting thing is will be Johnson..... Since the start of the 2009 ashes he was selected purely for the one or 2 unplayable balls he could bowl in a test. The other 200 were rubbish. Now it will be interesting to see if he goes back to the drawing board and begins to produce some of the 2008/2009 form. Or alternatively work on his batting and become an all rounder. He was a decent bat.
