Well, here we go. The Yankees and fans seem supremely confident in the "fact" that they are significantly better than the Rangers. Better maybe, but maybe not that much. And I am not a Yankee hater since we are normally just a blip on their radar.

I know I am a Rangers fan but I really believe this can go either way. Like I said above, if CJ wins Game 1, this series is all of a sudden very winnable for Texas.
    Agreed.

I see you've got your Claw & Antlers shirt.

Wearing it now! Let's go Rangers!!

It was a pretty funny article, I'll give it that. And it was probably a joke anyway.

in all seriousness, the author is best known for showing up at big games to sit with the Bleacher Creatures and document their goings on. even wrote a book about it

    http://www.amazon.com/Bleeding-Pinstrip ... 1582617694

ETA: showing up at big games only

one more thing to ETA: they have a poll, who will win the series and in how many games. teh runaway winner is :Rangers in 6

Well you certainly can't do stuff like that and expect to win games, especially against the Yankees.

I would have left CJ in there.

Kinsler cannot go all ADHD on the basepaths.

No blame on Young. That was a fucking laser.

And you can't let them get away with it when their ace is having a shitty night.

Gut-punch loss for sure but there are still many games left. Although I think my original theory will hold true. I don't trust Colby Lewis.

Ron Washington had no excuse for using 5 relivers in an inning and not one of them was named perez. The save situation is so overrated

He should have gone CJ for 7, O'Day for the 8th and Feliz for the 9th. That has been the formula most of the year. Too many changes. It is irritating.

The Sports Guy has a series of Faces - i.e. the Payton Manning Face, the Art Shell Face.

I think we can add the Ron Washington Face. As in - what the fuck is going on? I have no idea what I'm doing.

Stacking the odds against the Rangers, Hughes has owned Texas throughout his young career. In 15 1/3 innings, the 18-game winner in 2010 has not allowed a run, while going a spotless 2-0. Hughes is also red-hot, having blanked the Twins over seven frames in his first postseason start on Oct. 9.

    Yes!!!

    Really should be up 2-0.

The antler thing is just being overplayed by the TBS crew because it is new to them. We've been doing it all year.

he was up until the 2nd inning of this game. the 1st inning was posada's bad play. and the ump not calling that strike 3 to hamilton. but he didn't have it for the rest of the game.

We have ourselves a series now. I wasn't comfortable until the 9th but we got the split so all good. Usually the road team is looking for the split but I am perfectly fine with being tied 1-1 with Lee coming up next, then facing Burnett, then we get to have CJ pitch again. Feeling much better now.

the TBS broadcasters are awesome compared to ESPN. im so glad their not doing it. cant stand hearing Joe Morgan spend an hour talking about one play and how he would do things when he played.
