    There was an old Eddie interview back in the late 90's when he expressed a love for it as well. This was around the time when that In Hiding boot with the sax solo was floating around.

    Why ask this of PJ you already have the band that fits you well Huey Lewis & the news or I have to chalk it up that your this way because of all the loosing your sports team have been doing for a while now , so you get a pass on this terrible idea even though I know you are just messing around !

    Speaking as a huge Springsteen fan: saxophone has no place in rock music. Period. Loved the Big Man, but cringe when I try to introduce other people to the genius of Bruce's songs. A sax solo usually just ruins the whole thing.

    A saxophonist is exactly what Pearl Jam requires to maintain their unique rock sound.

    edit - the more I think about it, VS, Yield and No Code are perfect examples of albums where a saxophone would've been a great compliment. I always thought there was something missing from those albums.
