If i could go, i would spend the $171.00 for BOTH shows. Hell, if i were to fly across the country, i might as well TREAT myself>
But, i just can't do it$$$$$$$$. 0 -
It wouldn't be 171 for me. More like $700+ if you consider air fare from NY to CA, and hotel. Nice to dream about, but I'll just read the reports.R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.

If only these were webcasted or PPV evented all over the world. It would make things alot more easier for everyone!

Friend and I are shooting for the $171 for both nights. Already sent her the money for mine via paypal so she can get them together. If we don't get those, no worries, we'll just get the best seats we can. Going to a great cause and will make for a fun weekend0

without sounding stuck up, I think MOST people that are spending money on tickets KNOW the reason behind this BENEFIT show. If you (you in general) are trying to kid yourself about it being a pearl jam show.....then it's gonna be a major let down. Not every single artist on the bill is one I would see on a regular basis but.....I wouldn't call it a waste at all.~~~~~~ALWAYS HAVE A GOOD TIME~~~~~~

its a waste of money in terms of the time pj plays ..not the charity
but i agree save it for the real shows next yeari post on the board of a band that doesn't exsist anymore .......i need my head examined.......0 -
SENROCK wrote:I wouldn't call it a waste at all.
Exactly. Quite the contrary.
Every Pearl Jam fan should, if at all possible, see the band this way, in this setting.
It's not about the length of the set, the songs played or sitting in the first row.
It is an extraordinary experience that will blow you away on so many levels,
and one that will touch your heart, because it obviously touches theirs.

The jealousy rages within!!! I cant get there
but would pay it in a heartbeat,0 -
I meant waste of money in the context of someone going solely to see PJ. Not because it's a charity. No charity is a waste of money. Come on, people.Gimli 1993

What are the best seats anyone's gotten at the $171 level? Is it possible to get really good seats, or do they all get snatched up by scalpers?0
