Since I only need a single seat each night I'm probably going to try for the $171 for one of the two shows and sit in a higher seat the other show.

Not going to try for the lawns because I don't smoke so I'll leave the lawns to you smokers and potheads lol.
Which night is usually better? Not sure what night to sit closer?

I was seriously planning on going until my $420 deal (airfare and hotel) on Travelocity changed to $750 after I hit the “buy” button. WTF?

That plus tickets for both shows and then spending money.

Hell, I’d be out of my mind to do that.

. . . . but I still haven't completely ruled it out

Even sitting @ those $171+ seats, you're gonna be smelling the smoke & pot from behind, if you're close by them. Few front row seats will be reserved for Bridge School Benefit families & friends for sure. So best you're gonna get is middle to back seats. Though gotta think for a sec, it's gonna be 200 bucks plus CDN each night for seats (no way am I gonna pay for lawn stand/floor with all the smoke & pot floating around),to travel from one side of the continent to the next (Halifax, NS to Mountain View, CA), just to see Pearl Jam play for 40-55 minutes both nights, then probably a song or 2 @ the end with Neil & the boy's. It's all worth it for the kids & the price of admission to see my favorite band play during the weekend of their 20th anniversary live show (10/22/90). I gotta think this through this weekend.
