  • I’m glad they are fake. The only California shows are at the partial abortion that is Coachella. I want to see Rage but would never subject myself to Coachella for any band. Pearl Jam included. Everything that is wrong in life is summarized by Coachella.
    Peace,Love and Pearl Jam.

Yeah I keep telling myself to stop going to festivals.  I can't imagine how much worse Coachella would be over Louder than Life in Louisville.

I would probably do it for Rage just since I have never seen them live before.  Although I did see Prophets of Rage at LTL last year.

Their rendition of "How could I just kill a man" is horrible...

I like Renegades and that is pretty much it for me on that album. The Minor Threat cover is good too.

Nope.   I don't think there's a been a peep since those 5 dates got leaked.  No venues, details, let alone ticket info.

You think so? I love it.

I think the Kick out the Jams cover isn't so hot.

I gave up on RATM after their debut, after which they should've just officially changed their band name to The Machine.
No way. The rage continued on up until the end.

They likely have to wait until after Coachella officially makes their lineup announcement in early January.

Evil Empire.  Easy tops for me.  It is the only album of theirs that doesn't sound dated at all.  That's not a knock against the other albums; they are masterpieces as well, but almost because of the date you can hear in the sound (S/T is clearly early 90s; BOLA is clearly late 99/00).

The guitars, the pop of the snare, bass lines are heavy and dark.  One of my top all-favorite albums.

Here's hoping for ticket news soon!

I agree about Evil Empire. It’s a damn near perfect album. Everything about it is awesome from the mix to the cover art. Self-Titled sounds like it was recorded in a tent during a break in fighting Gorilla style warfare. Making it so cool but Evil Empire is just a whole other level. People of the Sun into Bulls on Parade to open the album and Year of The Boomerang to close.

    My fearless prediction:

Coachella announced on the evening of January 6.......RATM, Travis Scott & Frank Ocean are headliners.

RATM announces ticket sales for their other shows on January 7 or January 13.
