I have to agree that the show has lost its way. I used to be a big fan and still watch every week but I think the show has about run its course for me. I was never a big fan of Vinnie but this season he's become downright annoying. His new buddy is annoying. E getting married is annoying. Drama still not finding a decent job is annoying. But there are still plenty of hot semi naked chicks so I guess it's not all bad.

last night's show was fantastic. i don't really see how one can say otherwise.

the story lines this season are the best they've been in years. really looking forward to see how ari deals with the pending lawsuit.

    vince as a crazy alcoholic/dating a porn star--gold jerry.

the story lines are becoming a bit unbelievable as a few have mentioned. Ari trying to get an NFL team and Turtle not being a complete wastoid. i don't know - i still watch because for the most part tv sucks bad anyway but there isn't much here that interesting anymore. too much serious stuff happenening and not enough drunken escapades. show started more of the premise of the fun and wild side of being a star and in a star's circle - now its like watching a soap opera. and i will continue to be disappointed until Ari's wife and Sloane are naked in this show - at least one of them at some point but preferably both of them (and naked together would vault this show into new levels of greatness, but i digress...).

yes i did - vince's plot last night was great - the others not so much. I look forward to how they take vince's character forward with that plot line. the ari character and story is getting over the top and changes dramatically every season - it is getting ridiculous with the dramtic highs and lows of his character and business. the problem as i see it is it has become a drama series instead of a comedy - where are the funny parts? even Ari's character isn't funny anymore

to me its always been kind of a dramedy--not just a comedy. i've always wanted the show to be an hour long...
i agree somewhat on ari, but as norm points out, his character is based upon a real life agent (rahm emanual's brother) who has experienced a lot of the same stuff.

and the turtle storyline i think is great. he got a bunch of cash from vince to start that car service and failed miserably. then he stumbles upon this tequila idea and needs vince for that too. he's the ultimate mooch. i am sure there are tons and tons of turtles in hollywood right now.

the drama storyline is great. come on. john stamos and bob saget basically screwing him out of a sitcom that would have made him the butt of jokes anyway? that is gold.

eric's storyline is more low key. but the dude's getting married. that's the point.

billy comes back next week. so that should be fun. people get too caught up talking about a show's bad points when its been around this long. it will probably never be as good as it was 6 years ago. but its still better than 90% of the shit thats on tv. and is much better than last year imo.

I stopped watching this last season. It's the same thing all the time. I can't believe it's been on as long as it has.

Yeah, I don't really hate it but It's not must see tv for me anymore. I watch some of the older seasons on spike tv.

funny you mention that. i caught the season 1 finale on spike over the weekend. its awful on regular cable. its funny how different the show was back then. i thought turtle was a bit of a tool in the early days.

Yeah, it is kind of lame on regular tv. That's true, he was a kind of a douchebag, he became more likable later on.

i still watch because it's 10:30 on sunday night, but yup pretty much crap these days and agree with you on Drama and Ari. Those 2 used to be hilarious, now they are just pathetic losers who aren't funny.

    better than last year.

turtle's story line has turned dopey again though. he's been a tool since the beginning. and his chick, though hot, is annoying as hell.

with vince--eh....you can tell he's heading for some kind of breakdown. i say the season ends with him driving high and smashing his car up or something.

ari and johnny have the only good storylines. first 6 episodes were good. last few weeks have been so-so at best. and they're only doing 10 episodes which is weak.

the comedy's there with drama but i don't mind the darker undertones of this season.

do you watch the best show on tv, dexter? i cannot wait for that to start up next month. weeds is awesome too. another show that's rebounding after a poor last season.

I got into Entourage more recently so I dont find this season to be bad. Although the season premiere sucked. the past 2 episodes have been good IMO.

Vince is going in a complete downward spiral. I bet the seasons not gonna end good for him, and that E is going to get into a huge argument with him. Turtle seems to be fucked too, that tequila company is definitely gonna go after him. It seems that everyone is going into a downward spiral except the one who always does, Drama.

Oh, and Sasha is SLAMMIN. Sooooo hot.
