I hadn't heard that about Horizon 3 (PC) but it wouldn't surprise me. They just did a Forza 6 "extended demo" sort of thing for PC.
The good reviews don't surprise me either. It's been a good series since Horizon 1. That said, I've got a lot on the go and haven't even come close to finishing FM6 so I'll wait for a sale...

I was playing the demo last night. It looks great.

Too bad that the Gran Turismo series went to shit.

Anyone get the Playstation VR? It is very tempting, but $500 for the starter bundle. So far it is getting good reviews.

I've considered it. From what I've seen, it's gotten pretty good reviews so far. I have the camera and a couple of Move controllers already so I could just get the base VR unit. My problem is that I sit like 12 feet from my TV (and where the camera would be). I read that anything beyond 6 feet, and the camera can lose the tracking.
I kind of wish I knew someone who had one I could try first.

Well, I stopped by Target to pick up a couple of things and sure enough, there was a base PSVR kit there....last one.
    I bought it.

    Impulse buy.

Charging up my move controllers now.

May or may not get to it tonight as I got a lot of crap to do, but I'll have a review of it and the Batman game for you tomorrow for sure. ha!

Well, after playing around with it for 30-40 minutes...
    Simply amazing! No joke!
Batman game makes you feel like you are there. It's really hard to describe.

Comfortable to wear. Recommend third party headphones as the buds they give you are a little weird.
It does get a little warm...not from the device but just having it on for so long.

It's truly crazy, just looking around in 360 degrees at the environments. A few times I reached out to try and touch things.

If you're on the fence. I say go for it. Well designed, well integrated. Can't wait to get back "in"!

You can play non VR games and watch movies, etc with it, but haven't tried...or really see the point.

It'll fit any head and face. It's fully adjustable. It's actually quite comfortable to wear.

I'm not a Nintendo guy even in the least but some good things going on there. Happy for the Nintendo-only die hards to finally see some Skyrim love.

So for I'm liking the changes in Civ VI. I'm glad they got rid of the workers and replaced them with builders. The city district layout makes for a new way a strategy when choosing city locations. Everything seems for the better.

to me it looks like Civ V Part 2, and IMO Civ 5 wasnt just a step back in the series, it went on a completely different path I do not enjoy. I put in 100s and 100s of hours on Civ II, III, and IV... Never finished a Game of Civ V.

I didn't like Civ V and shelved it for several year. I played it the last few months to prep and the expansions made it a much better game.

Civ VI so far has fixed a lot of things that bothered me if Civ V, such as:

    * Happiness doesn't suffer from expansion.
    * I don't have to micromanage workers as they replaced them with builders. Builders create a mine/farm/etc instantly, but only have 3 uses
    * There are two tech trees, one for tech and another for civics
    * You can get boosts for tech that cuts the turns in half to create them by doing task
    * The government system is much better. There is a card system you pick to fill 4 slots which give advantages per your style.
    * Roads are built by creating a trade route (they auto-build with Rome)
    * The new district system is a fresh change. City planning needs to be thought out in advance for future expansion, but it makes more sense to me. Still much to learn
    * Did I mention I no longer need to micromange workers?

I'm only 100 turns into my first game, but so far I think it is great.
