My kid wanted to fire up my xbox 360 the other day to play the racing game with the wheel and it wouldnt read any disks.
The racing game probably has some DRM music rights or a car manufacturer
rights that expired so the Microsoft bricked the game. Old licensed sports games are the same … I
tried playing NCAA football and Tiger Woods and no dice. Maybe resetting the system and not logging in
would work if you want to try that (or google).
That is part of the reason I went digital (that and it is sooo much more
convenient along with most “new” games require a 80 GB day one update)
