Is that Jesus? Funny. I always pictured him as a beer drinker.

It also looks like Eddie. "Look like Jesus..."

Saw that. It was funny. I love Paul. I love all the members of the Beatles, but John is my favorite.

I absolutely LOVE that movie. Favorite Christmas movie ever (National Lampoons Xmas vacation a close second)

I am just finishing up the entire Beatles catalog that I started listening to on Monday going to work. On Past Masters Disc 2 enjoying Hey Jude right now. Gonna hit up the members solo work next week. Can't get enough of it right now.

Just a quick reminder that Paul is on SNL tonight if you don't have plans @ 11:30pm.
He who forgets will be destined to remember.

Did you pick up the newest RS yet? An amazing multi page interview with John from December 5th, 1980. Also an article written by Yoko about the last months of John's life. Amazing.

It's also my favorite Christmas movie ever..."Elf" and "A Christmas Story" are tied for second. Nothing is surpassing "It's a Wonderful Life".

When I have nothing else to listen to, I'll listen to the entire discography I have of The Beatles and always remind myself that The Beatles don't have a best album...every album is great. I'll create a playlist, put everything on there, and categorize it by year; so that way, I start with the early tapes from the first Anthology and continue until Let It Be.

I'll probably check out McCartney on SNL, but I'll set the DVR in case I fall asleep because I'll be studying all day.

I picked up the new issue of Rolling Stone and looking forward to reading the interview after finals. It's from the 9 hour interview Cotts did with Lennon. Only excerpts of the interview were used in 1980/1981 as a tribute issue for Lennon. If you go to the iTunes store, on John's page, they have a podcast from a couple Rolling Stone interviews he did with them. One of them is the infamous 1970 interview (which I still have to listen to the entire thing) and the other is parts of the 1980 interview that goes along with the magazine. Just thought you might like to know.

Don't feel too bad Newch, I'm stuck in the library all day. I should be out playing golf right now, being 50 degrees and all, but no. Sitting here studying and preparing a presentation on the Toyota recalls all day.

Here's my philosophy: If you have an A or B in a class, you shouldn't have to take a final. It's pointless studying for that class when you should study more for a class that you're not doing great in. That way, you have a better chance of pulling up your grade in the class you're not doing well in.

What if you have a B in a class and need an A? What then? I'm very much a perfectionist.

Why do you NEED an A? How will it improve your life? Living your life and gaining experiences will improve your life, right? Do you really need a 4.o? I don't know what your major is, in a few (very few) cases it does matter slightly. But if it is just for self satisfaction...I'm just saying.

Graduate school for me. Yes, I need to get as close to a 4.0 as possible. It will improve my life by showing future potential employers how driven and successful I am at everything I do. But you're right, living life and gaining new experiences will improve my life. The program I'm in, there are 3 grades: A, B, and Fail. So yes, it is imperative that I do well.

Just out of curiosity, may I ask in what you seek a degree?

I'm going for my Masters in Business Administration (MBA). It's about a 2 year process.

  • I guess an MBA in business would be one of the few of which I speak that a slight difference in a decimal point in a GPA would matter. Sucks for you dude...study on then.
  • Who's excited for next year?

    EVCT11, most importantly
    PJ20 festival in "middle america"
    VS reissue with Boston 94
    Holiday single in June
