Yeah, I doubt St. Louis, KC, Cleveland, Noblesville, Bristow or Salt Lake City will be getting an EV or PJ show in 2011.

    Sarcasm or no?
I mean, I think there's a reason why they hadn't been to those places in years and years. And when they finally played there, there were more empty seats than a Kings of Leon concert (F Kings of Leon, by the way. F them and their hipster skinny jeans). I'm sure there were fanatics and nice people at those shows, some of whom I know personally on the board. But come on...

    Disappointment in those cities.

I've never been a fan of Kings of Leon. I only liked a few songs from their previous album but nothing really hit me with them. I'm sure others think they're great.

Noblesville was sold out (35K plus) and was awesome, yet cold
Being on a Friday Night helped.

I stand corrected on Noblesville. I stick to my theory on all the others though. Thanks for the clarification on that BD. You're right, Noblesville did sound like fun.

Thank you and as an employee of a CT based company, I agree with your wishes for a show... Downtown Stanford would be lovely :D
Or he could just play in the middle of our trading floor

I'm gonna buck the trend right now and say I actually like the new KOL album. Don't really care for the jeans and the hipster ideology's and all that. Don't even care to see them in concert.

But the new album is pretty good.
He who forgets will be destined to remember.

I was listening to it in the car today and it is growing on me. But I read they don't care what soccer moms think about them so I guess my opinion doesn't count! Not bothered about seeing them in concert but REALLY want to see PJ in CT...PLEASEEEEEE :D

Saw the Black Crowes in NYC a few weeks ago...they were amazing and it was a small enough setting for the whole crowd to just have a lot of fun!

the new cd is miles above the last
but far from the first 3
hating on the taper jeans and overpriced clothing line as well
but still holding out hope that they'll come back to their roots someday soon, appreciate the original fans and lose the new fans they've picked up who only care to hear Sex on Fire
Also, i heard recently that they have an extra guy on stage now at their live shows playing guitar, who they keep unnamed and hidden in the shadows...apparently Matt and Caleb cant handle the guitar parts on the new songs

That's pathetic. What a talentless group of hacks. I've seen em 4 times and not once did I say "Wow, these guys are good at what they do."

One of the comments on a video said she's even better live. Not sure I'd go but I like to hear artists are better live...one of the reasons I like PJ so much!

I was thinking...people said the band said they weren't going to tour in 2010 and they did. Now Eddie is saying they might not do much touring in 2011. It could mean more Eddie touring and probably a PJ tour later in the year.

Good for them. I actually like the UConn football program. BCS=Big $ for schools. More money for recruiting, facilities, travel etc. Congrats UConn.

Wow! We both actually like something in sports. But yeah, going to the BCS is definitely $$$$ for the school. Their training facility is crazy. Can't wait for the game.
