That's what I used to do before my accident and now I am looking into changing directions. I just don't know what direction!
I worked in printing & publishing for 15 years, and both industries are nose-diving here.
There's still a lot of print work out there for sure. If one looks around the printed word is everywhere!
Thank goodness thats still the case. We are getting a revamped website.. From what I can tell
I think web design is still doing really well.

Advertising is down and big events but we have been super busy since mid Jan...
we are very small but in general the field is picking up.
I know our freelance graphic artists and print brokers are doing pretty good again.
    Lets hope it continues

Oh and the rappers in Atlanta are way busy and our new movie industry here in GA :D

I work for Orthocon in Irvington, NY. We just started selling our product (hemostat) commercially not too long ago. How long have you been in medical sales?

Nice. I don't know anything about science, but medical companies are usually solid

Been in med sales for about 5 years. I work for an independent rep firm. I have approx 10 product lines including 3M surgical, Welch Allyn cardiology, Zoll Medical, and Bovie electrosurgical equipment.

I love my job...money is great and I love making my own schedule.
  • The Fixer:

    That's awesome!

I work more along the lines of product release testing (QA/QC), and do a lot of research as well. I've been doing this for almost 5 years too! My schedule isn't bad (typical M-F), but I could use some more dough (I think I'm due at this point)! ;)

    community college student

I go to Chaffey in Rancho Cucamonga and am going for a certificate in broadcasting/film/tv. After my current radio/announcing class I'm taking now I have 3 more (scriptwriting, regular tv production, radio production) to take until I get my certificate. Don't understand why I have to take TV production when I took and passed a more advanced class called *multi camera* but...oh well. I've got financial aid helping me because of my "high functioning autism" that was previously diagnosed as Asperger's in my teen years and am living in an assisted living area for disabled people so SSI helps with the housing.

I'm actually a returning student after a 5 year hiatus where I did a couple of jobs and started college a 11 years ago. I'm basically the Jeff Winger (Props to fellow Coummunity fans! :D ) of my college.

Today I put together an html St Patrick's Day email. It looked great. After that I decorated one of the bedrooms and went to the rubbish tip. Only 7 more months and hopefully I'll be out of here.
