I'm in. It may be played at every show, but there's a damn good reason. Without Even Flow, most of us wouldn't have fallen in love with this band in the first place. Great post.

No time to be void, or save up on life, you've got to spend it all
During Even Flow, Ed notices a guy wearing a shirt saying “No Even Flow”, and starts a bit of an exchange with him, after the line “I can’t help when I’m happy, look insane.”, he yells “saw you too late, man”, then introduces Mike’s solo, “Once again, Mr. Mike McCready whether you like it or not”. After the song, Ed continues at the guy, “How’s that for Mr. Mike McCready on the right-hand guitar? He has to play that song or else he’ll fucking kill somebody. And I have a nominee, for ah… Mike, next time you don’t play that song, this guy right here, this guy.. he’s wearing a shirt that says “no even flow”, I suggest you kill him first. (rim shot) I know you can take him by yourself, but if you need help, I’ll help. You know the thing is sir, we take requests not orders, you should know better than that.”

Face melting mccready rules even flow. Took a first timer to 10/28/09 and I believe it was even flow and Mikes ridiculous solo that converted him. I can never understand why anyone would leave to take a piss break, thats what the encore break is for. ...
I couldn't agree with you more. I took my 2 sons to Columbus 5/6/10 for their first-ever PJ show, and all the way from WI to OH they said, "I hope they play 'Even Flow' tonight." When the opening riff rang out, my 8 year-old promptly removed his shirt and said, "I'm gonna rock this hard, Dad."
Not to be outdone, at the end of the first set, my 10 year-old practices perfect concert etiquette by saying, "Ok Dad, now I really have to take a leak." We ran out, did our biz, and were back in our seats before the first encore break was over.
I made a mental note before the show to see if anyone was leaving during Even Flow, but I was too busy rocking with my boys...priceless moment!
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! The video/Rearviewmirror version is one of the most intense tracks of the last 20 years in rock music.
Yeah yeah....don't vote repulican!

That is 5 kinds of awesome.
What a classy final line.
Cheers.
'Cause you don't give blood and take it back again.

Count me in. Love me some Even Flow
We could get Chiquimonkey to make us some cool ass t-shirts and wear them with pride.
I like it!! I think Chiquimonkey would do this idea proud!! You can get t-shirts made for anything at many places now (http://www.spreadshirt.co.uk/create-you ... t/17590052), but it would need something more artistic with a touch of class given that the song in question has buckets of it! I love that this song is still admired by the majority and everyone hasn't jumped on the pissbreak bandwagon. It surprises me more that people can't hold it in for a couple of hours and since Even Flow is usually quite early in the set people must be missing 3 or 4 songs if their bladders are so weak? :? Glad to see this too!
You guys are late to the party! There's been an EVENFLOW club for a while now!!! EVENFLOW PSYCHOS....shirts are FLOWting around

this comes from someone who have been to ONE show only....
people leaving a PJ show for a pissbreak....i dont understand that, only if you're very young or very very old you may be excused....
even flow together with once is what got me into this band in the first place, so please play it every show so I get to hear it some time, if I ever get the opportunity that is
peace love and evenflow for all

I get a little uptight too at the posts were very spophisticated PJ fans lament the fact that they were forced to endure one of the all-time rock classics. In their defence, I guess their tastes are just that much more refined than us simple folk... who just haven't figured out how to value and prefer songs like 'Bushleaguer' to it.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
Butthead: Huh huh.
