    So anybody on the lovely gold coast (LA specificaly) want to split a ship?

    Side note, this is framing special number two but we got no new frame options? what gives? I live by the beach and like a little natural wood if you know what i'm sprayin'. All this black is kinda killing me.

    I need to get my DC reaper done,damn poster is 16 1/16x 30 1/4.On Brad's site it says 22 1/2x 17 1/16.Does anybody have measurments of thier DC poster?

    On the photo of the one I framed up recently, there's both blue and red in the matting. There's about 1/4" of red showing under the blue matting.

    When looking at a 2 color print, I recommend the color which is less vibrant as the top mat, because if it's more vibrant than the print, then your eyes may be drawn to the matting first. So for the EV Rocket, that's my recommendation, but I'm glad to frame however would make someone happy! :)

    ...oh, and instead of a blue-striped frame, a red-striped frame may give you some more red in the framing, without a bright red mat on top. Just something to consider. :D

    I'm gonna pm u before the end of the night( while listening to Newark :) ) just to go over all the costs, since I'll be using a ticket stub on 1....... I'm leaning on sending u the rocket, and either la or Adelaide '09. I've nixed the MSG 2 '10 cause I don't have it yet and it's gonna cost me more cause it's bigger.

    Haha... picky, picky... :lol: My supplier is giving me a special for this group on all frames of that style. I'll be glad to frame in frames outside of this special, but the price will be higher than this special. I have over 2,000 frames available. If you ship another poster to me, I'll be glad to find a great frame for it, as long as you don't mind a higher price. :)

    Great question! I don't know, but BUMP for an answer!

    It may be "image size" and "paper size", as the image is often smaller than the paper size.

    If the image truly starts well inside of the paper size, then the price of the framing will be based on the image size, so it may keep you from hitting the next size category.

    Okay this is probably a stupid question but how do I calculate the ground shipping rate on ups.com? I tried estimating shipping a ups tube to Richmond and the cheapest option it gives me is 2nd day air.

    If you look at the shipping rates on UPS.com it should give you a list of rates, from Next Day Air to Ground. You can also call 800-PICK-UPS and get a rate over the phone. Also, USPS handles shipping tubes. :)

    So... we now have 21 confirmed!
    This puts us in the 21-30 bracket, of $169 per piece (more for sizes above 19x25)

    If you add your 3 to the current confirmed list, that makes it 24. Still in the 21-30 bracket... but still darn good! :)


    If all of the current "tentatives" become "confirmed", we will be at 29. If you add 3 pieces to that, that will make it 32, putting us in the 31-40 (lowest) bracket of $159 per piece (more for sizes above 19x25).

    UPDATE FOR CONFIRMED PEOPLE:

    OK - Since we have 21 confirmed frames, we know the price will be at least as low as $169. :D We may hit the $159 bracket by the time we get to the end of the month, but we won't know for a few weeks.

    FOR THOSE WHO HAVE CONFIRMED, IF YOU DON'T MIND SENDING IN YOUR POSTERS NOW, IT'LL HELP KEEP ME AHEAD OF THINGS (measuring, color review, contacting you about colors, etc) SO I CAN TRY TO GET FRAMING SHIPPED AT THE END OF JULY.

    Those of you who are able to ship now, please go ahead and do so. If you post on this thread "SHIPPED" I will add that to the OP, to help keep things organized.

    I'll probably ask for your opinion on best frame stripe and mat colors since you're the expert if that's alright with you. ;) I'll PM you when I send them later this week.

    Yes - you can fill out 1 form in full (since there's room for 3 posters on there) and in the other two tubes include a blank form, with just your name on it saying "see other form in other tube". :)

    For your partial-frame-job, since it will not count towards the group discount brackets (since the majority of the framing is already done) I'll arrange things with your towards the end of the month, since it won't be able to be counted towards the price brackets.

    :lol: sorry! I meant "his" and somehow wrote "her". I think I knew a girl named Morgie long ago. :D

    I'm gonna make it a smaller font now though. The OP is a running tally of "Confirmed", "Tentative" and so on, so it helps me keep track of everything. Hope that's ok. :)
