    SPOILER ALERT

turned out to be a pile of poop.
it was probably the jeagler's neighbor's dog shitting in the mountains out near eyed's home.

There are books flying across the country as we speak. Some are going to places I would never dare tread, like Texas for instance.

Yes, a few others have received theirs already. I named the Rattlesnake Stanley, but he doesn't really respond to it so feel free to change accordingly.

This post has me more conflicted than you might imagine. I mean, it bumps my thread, so that's a good thing. However, and I hate to be the one to break this to you, Dis, but it just came up lacking in the humor dept. Then again, I appreciate the fact you even tried. Also, for every joke of yours that fails, my chances of winning the whole who's funniest contest increase ten-fold. Dunk, check my maths.

To make a short story long... what did I do with my coffee mug?

today has been a good day.
i received two packages in the mail.

i'll be reading eyed's poetry each night before bed.
seems like a good place and time to start the journey into eyed's work.
    thank you, Sir.

the rattlesnake's name will be wilbur.
he's already made a den under my bed.
i am looking forward to morning tea and a cold hug from my new scaly buddy.
    this will be amazing.

also, i have a certain 45 rpm recording of pearl jam's "turning mist."
    i am pleased.
one problem though... i do not own a record player.
one day i'll have to pick one up.
i'll be very cool and badass when i get one.
i do not believe i've seen a record in at least 19 years ;)

thank you pearl jam & thank you mr. eyed.
    what a wonderful day. :D
