    I think he comes from a rich family so he was able to turn down their offer. They knew it was a risk signing him.

    Dude was crazy comitted to UCLA. Yanks took him 28th and offered him $3 mil or something liek that out of high school, granted he's going to get a lot more now, but still. Grew up a huge Yankees fan too, stories about him and one of the more famous signs at Yankee stadium during the 2001 world series.

    Yeah, he only went for 2 years though. I won't knock someone for going to school, just wish he was in the Yankees org.
