Wash was great for the Braves, especially developing the young infielders. I hate to see him leave.
Agree on his excellence at training fielders.  What he is known for.
    Hope he does well.
(Just think they need a different type)

Why does Craig Counsell always look like a little boy wearing his dad's hat? I've spent a decade loathing this dude, now I gotta like him all of a sudden.

Agree.  I hated Harbaugh before he was coach of the Niners, hated him during, hate him now.
    You can do it!

OMG….the Giants hired Pat Burrell as their hitting coach. I remember Pat going….literally…oh for the 2010 World Series. 11 strikeouts in 13 AB’s. That’s our new hitting coach :face_palm:

Espada going into a cushy job as Astros newest manager for his first try. Other than Boone and Davjd Roberts. Who else walked into a good situation for their first time as manager?

Alex Cora with the Red Sox in 2018 is one that comes to mind in recent years. Team was coming off back-to-back playoff appearances when he got the job.

I thought Dusty had a cake walk.  He just had to deal w the cheating thing but had a built team already.

looking at baseball reference, it looks like he was kind of a beast for two years. he never hit for average….and now he’s a hitting coach. SMH.

Most hitting coaches were never great hitters. Yankees had a guy I believe who never played

Well he could hit a long ball.  He did have 10+ years o 20 or more and like I said, two beast years.

Dude was a highly touted rc coming in.  Big rc class that year, Hamilton, Soriano, Dunn, Pena and Crawford among others.

He's co-hitting coach. So maybe he'll work on how to hit homeruns and strikeout
