40,000 people leaving the park at once, and yet somehow an MLB representative found this girl & her friend and hand delivered letters to them as they exited the stadium?  Unless it was delivered while they were still in their seats, but then wouldn't they remove the girls from the stadium immediately at that point?  Something isn't adding up here.  I think Jason P might be onto something...

It was in the 7th inning stretch?
More than enough time for someone to type out a quick letter, hit print (or send, if he wasn't at the game) and have security escort them out.
They should be used to the word escort, I imagine.

2 balls hit to, basically, straight-away LF that went 355 & 353 Feet for HR's. I knew Astros LF was close but didn't realize it's that close.  How close is that Fence?( 'cuz those HR's went over with plenty to spare).

Strasburg and Rendon are gonna get paid. Remember when Strasburg was a rookie. And they limited his innings. And the team didn't go far after that?

Why pull Strasburg after 8.1 innings? Let the man finish it. Pitched a hell of a World Series elimination game.

Fucking lame pulling Strasburg right now. Let the guy finish it. Last game of the year, barely over 100 pitches. So disappointing how pitchers are used in the modern era.
    It's a hopeless situation...

in this series so far, maybe 5% of fans in attendance have left the stadiums happy. 95% have left pissed, with much lighter wallets.

Honestly, Smoltz sounds like the baseball equivalent of Troy Aikman in the booth with Buck. Their voices are so similar it's uncanny.

    ^^^^ I’d still go with Bumgarner...4-0: .25 ERA in 4 WS starts.

Never in professional sports has teams in a 7 game series won ALL the road games. The Nationals have a chance to do that tonight.

It's never happened in the NBA, or the NHL.

I cant wait for spring training whe the Nats and Astros play each other twice. The park is just a short walk from my house.
