I forgot until about 9pm. Did anyone watch on MAX?
I just noticed they were on there. What would the benefit be of watching it on Max though? Is the picture supposed to be clearer or someting?

If not, it just seems like an inconvenience to move from one streaming service to another in between innings if you don't want to watch commercials.
I'm pretty sure they still shows ads.
My point is most people turn the channel during the ads so it makes that less convenient.
Yea but this is for the cord cutters. So if you're watching on the app you're not worried about changing channels

Ouch, O's looked terrible against the Rangers. Maybe Dodgers are next?

It’s a bummer about the O’s. I don’t blame the playoff format….I think they were just to young. Hopefully, they’ll be back, next year….and the yankees and sawx will not be. the postseason can be cruel….I remember when the giants got swept out in 1997, after a thrilling season. I was like WTF?

Phillies got absolutely rolled by the Rox in 2007, after 14 years without being in the playoffs.

    The next year went better.

Some ending to the Phils/Braves game.
Bonkers.  Braves made some catches in the OF last night that were really good.  That play was amazing.  Don't blame Bryce for making sure was going to score....it was a coin flip.  If Harris doesn't make the incredible catch, but still makes a good play on this ball, the extra time running was gonna be needed to score.  (Or, get to 3rd at worst)

That game had a little of everything.
(Also, Strider yelling from the rail about balls and strikes had me up
Bryce could have stopped at second base and made it back in time. It was a boneheaded play. With that being said, they were down to their last out anyway so it’s not like it cost them the game. Especially considering they were up 4-0.

My point was that he may not have scored if Harris field the ball well (w/o catching) if he stopped by/before second.  Was a risk and he took it.  I don't blame him for being balls out, I like it.
If he scores on a close play at the plate everyone lines up to shake his dick for being aggressive.

That Twins game yesterday was a rough one. Was up in the upper deck of left field with the bleacher creatures. Target Field was bonkers at the start, but that four run first inning for Houston sucked all the air out of the place.

Best part of the game was they announced and showed on the Jumbotron the offensive line for the Vikings were attendance. They were mercilessly booed by the hometown crowd.

    Boo hoo. Sadness

What an incredible regular season, and a heartbreaking three games.

Can the O's be good next year? They seem to have a year of wonder, and then 10 years of same-old-same-old-bad.

After 2012 it became harder to follow them because they were consistently the worst team. This year there were pops of brilliance, and I started to listen to them again. Should I be hopeful, and look to the future? Or, should I be realistic and rely on the past?

I think you can be optimistic. If anything they need a few more established starting pitchers and probably should add to the bullpen mix since Bautista is not going to pitch next year.

O's will be fine next year after having a really great season. They're going to be in the playoff hunt for a few years to come, in my opinion.

The only good thing about the Rangers winning is that we'll actually be able to watch the game with a new start time. Hoping for a strong outing from Urquidy!!

Man, I despise the modern strategy of pulling starters after 2 or 3 innings. I would think starters hate getting pulled in what amounts to more of a relief appearance.

Elias Sports Bureau said the 4 2/3 innings by Dodgers starting pitchers are the fewest in the first three games of any postseason series. I'm surprised they kept Lynn in there to allow the four homers.

they could put them on the side of a milk carton.

I was texting a buddy who’s a d-bags fan….yes, they do exist….I told him “thanks, but now you’re on your own”….meaning, beating the fucking dodgers was great but I can’t root for your boys any longer. I think I’d root for braves or phils but I’m not 100% sure. the AL teams have bochy and dusty but they both have rings and I’m not super fond of their teams.

my historical hatred of the d-bags goes back to the bought WS with schilling and unit. the current team is not particularly hateable. now that the super villian is out, it’s hard to chose.

for me, the dodgers string of futility is at 35 years….even their fans know the mini season doesn’t count.

according to Wikipedia he grew up in Indianapolis and was a Yankees fan. Where's that sports fraud thread? Pearl-Jam-Smileys
