Phillies would be a great fit for Trea.
Why leave a stacked Dodgers team though?  They have a farm system to plug the holes needed, they just had a shitty Post Season.
He wants to be on the east coast, his wife is from this area and despite what Cliffy thinks he and his wife are good friends with Harper which does in fact matter.
    He may very well, buuuttt...

That would mean that Judge will be West Coast bound then!
Judge has clearly stated he wants to remain a Yankee 4 life, but he too will be going to whatever team pays him the most.

You know how many times i've heard that line and only to have the player bolt to somewhere else?

He says that to say the right thing, he's no dummy.

Because Wikipedia is the most reliable source lol. Free agents can't sign with other teams until 5pm ET today. He may very well sign with them this evening, but right now it's just a fan speculating on what he'll do.

i know just thought it was kinda funny. I've seen way worse wikipedia fake stuff than that.

I always wonder why the Astros trade or let people go.  There pipeline scouts are amazing.

If memory serves, there wasn't any room for him. I think it was as simple as that. They saw him as an everyday CF, but Springer had that locked up.

Goldie was the clear favorite.  Dude has been solid for years.  Congrats to him.

The twins revealed their new uniforms.  I didn't think it was possible but they are worse than the old ones.

That M looks like the Marlins design. The right one looks like a Royals outfit...

Of this list. ARod, Pettite, Andruw, and Sheffield, and Manny. Anyone one of those.

I always thought Rolen should get more consideration but his numbers aren’t there for me for as injury free as he remained. Wouldn’t be the worst inclusion though.

Yea. Nice player but nothing outstanding. I guess his WAR will get him in.

They don't have to vote anyone in. There will be a lot of 1st place splits I think

I don't think there is anyone with a 70 WAR not in the hall?

I just noticed that Bobbi Grich, 3rd baseman for the Halos amongst other teams, has a 71.1 WAR.  He is only .2 under Jeter.  WOW!  He was always a good player but never said to be elite...

Edit:  He had an 8.3 WAR which is elite, yet he was 19th in MVP voting.  Was that a Reggie year for MVP?  I know he killed in those A's years.

I like Abreu to Houston. That lineup is going to be ridiculous if they can all stay healthy, of course.

I'm hoping that Yuli re-signs as a role player/backup IF.

Yea Mattingly is better. Played with a bad back his final 7? years I believe. Had to tinker with new batting stances. Rolen never led in any of the major categories. Never won MVP. Good player

Yeah, neither of these guys should be in.
  • Saw Juggs' post and laughed, set a timer for countdown to "Mattingly was better, he had a bad back" post.
