    Is anyone having problems ordering the KC show on CD mine comes up with an error message.

    I just tried to open the Goods section and received an error message. I tried again and got a Pearl Jam graphic that said "You just ripped our face off". Below that it stated to try later. Must be having issues. By the way, I went to this show in KC and still can't get it out of my head. Outstanding!

    Got a question I hope someone can answer for me. I was at the KC show (which kicked ass BTW) and now I've got the boot. Listening to the CD made me remember that between BetterMan and Happy Birthday Eddie says "What the Fuck is your problem". Can anyone tell me what that was about?

    I had to do some searching for this thread...I must say, what an experience! On April 5th of this year, my infant son had a liver transplant. From that day until May 1st we lived at Childrens Mercy Hospital in KC, and in the 13 months prior to that we'd spent so much time there being hit with blow after blow that I wasn't sure I could ever consider KC a "happy place".
    About two weeks into our post-transplant stay, I learned that PJ would be in town and I just knew that KC would be our "happy place" from then on out. After coming home with our baby, we turned around two days later and made the long drive back to KC to see the show. It was just the release I needed...they could not have come at a better time. I took my baby sister, who had never seen ANY live concert, and we had crap seats with really tall, really drunk and really obnoxious fans in front of us and it was AMAZING. My husband has been deployed since January, so the entire second encore just rocked me to my core AND we got to hear "Off He Goes" which is "our song".
    It sounds silly, but you know how you have those moments where you just realize that life sucks sometimes but everything will ultimately be ok? This concert was mine, and that's why I dug up this old thread to share. I just needed to say thank you to the band, to the amazing people we got to meet and all of you amazing people we didn't. You all helped me out of a really bad place.

    (We're now 7 months post-transplant. The little guy is doing perfectly and dances his little hiney off to PJ with mama and big brother.) :D
