    It's happened to me a number of times.

    One was a seller here on The Porch. Sold items to a lot of people. He shipped some, but didn't ship others. The delay ended up being over 2 months. The seller ended up scamming a number of people on here. Paypal sided with my side, but said the other person closed their account, so they could not withdraw funds. So I called my credit card company which I used thru paypal... problem solved.

    Another time was there was another seller who was supposed to send something to me, and didn't, and I filed like 47 days later. Paypal's website would only register the complaint, but immediately it was filed as closed. Apparently if you initiate a dispute beyond 45 days or so, paypal will not do anything. Again I called my credit card company which I used thru paypal... problem solved.

    If you pay with your bank account thru paypal, you have little recourse.

    If you pay with your CC thru paypal, you have a significant amount of protection.

    here's my suggestion as a resolution between starmap333 and cjmst3k.

    1) find out which shows you guys are going to on the upcoming tour. (hopefully there is one that you both are going to)
    2) request that prior to the pj set, you two get up on stage and play a game of pingpong. (not sure if the band still brings a table on tour with them so you may have to bring one)
    3) first person to 21 wins and then the issue will be done.

    think it'll work?

    I would prefer an honest and heart felt apology, along the lines of this, but in his own words:

    "I am sorry, I was wrong to have screwed you over. You had every right to the poster. You paid for it, and it was indeed your property once I accepted payment for it, and I delayed shipping it, then decided to keep your property anyway even knowing that you could no longer buy one at the show, because I wanted payment before the show".



    Instead he's made a series of excuses which had nothing to do with the transaction, or calling me names, or simply posting "WHAAAA". Not sure I can work on that low of a level, nor that I'd believe him at this point. He seems to have enjoyed screwing me too much, and enjoys name calling that much more.

    Received an email from seller,saying that she will repay the money?? BUT still no money!!!
    Then received email from paypal saying case is closed as i had informed paypal that we had come to an amicable agreement. I HADNT INFORMED PAYPAL OF ANY AMICABLE AGREEMENT!!!

    If you paid with your Credit Card thru Paypal... contact them. They will solve this.

    If you paid with your bank account thru Paypal... you're probably screwed, but give a phone call to paypal.
