sports is a great album!

Of course the guy from Caddyshack would say that! ;)

Seriously though, Huey Lewis & the News was probably my favorite band as a kid. We're talking early to mid 80's here. Sports was a classic album. First song I heard from them was "The Only One". One of their more rockin' tunes.

I used to think he said "the heart of rock and roll is in cleveland"

i'm 99% sure at the end of one of the choruses, he says "the heart of rock and roll is still beatin'.....in cleveland"...pretty sure it's right before the sax solo.

Yeah he probably meant the chorus.

never owned a huey lewis & the news album.
    it wasn't hard enough.
it's not that they are a terrible group.
they are decent musicians no doubt about it.
i guess they have just never been my style of music.

oddly enough i do blame this tune for my drug use as a youngster

I have Huey's greatest hits CD and play it regularly. I will always wonder why Back in Time wasn't included on the greatest hits CD I have. It's on of my favorites from them.

Surprised the thread has gone this long without mentioning that Huey Lewis has a dong that puts 99.9% of the male world to shame.
