    They've been doing this thing where they play 1/2 songs. Rolling Back, Lay Low, etc. Easy Morning Rebel was outstanding. The sound was just so crisp. Yeah, 1000 people at the most showed up. Opened with Steam Engine. Great slow jams (Bermuda Highway, Wonderful, Tonight I wanna Celebrate), and they finished the first set with I Think Im going to Hell>Smokin From Shootin>1/2 run thru>Touch Me Pt.2>1/2 Lay Low. Possibly the most euphoric 20-25 mins of my live music watching career.

    I felt the same way until I saw how they made it flow live. It works. It appears this tour they are experimenting more. Not much banter or lag time in between songs. I made the statement last night (after a few drinks) that seeing MMJ live is like watching a movie or a three act play. Never short on the dramatic, these guys make their shows virtually seamless and doing 1/2 songs aids them in doing that. Lay Low will be played in its entirety again, as will Run Thru, but the guys are just toying with shit at this point.

    No covers, but my first time for Honest Man and Where To Begin. Looking forward to the State Theatre on 10/15...warm up for the NYC run, so hoping for some real off the wall shit.

    my mind is still blown from Wednesday...had to take a day off to recover....holy shitballs!!! What an amazing band!!!!! How do more people not know about this band??? Its crazy! We could freely walk around - even right up to the stage pretty much....oh well....their loss and better for me with less people!! I think Easy Morning Rebel is my new fav song.......or maybe Bermuda Highway....fuckin amazing.... Now, the real question is...how do i NOT go to New York :think:
