^ BoH and Dr. Dog are two of the best live bands you can see now. Idk how familiar you are with their material but go listen to Live at The Ryman, it's awesome. Plus the crowd will be Rocking and Yim and company will come out to play a few songs I'm sure.

And I signed up for the golf tourney last year but they made it at like 7am to get the shuttle. I went to bed at like 5:30 or something so clearly didn't make that but it looks like tht learned their lesson and made it noon this year.

Everything I heard from people last year were that the excursions were aweosme so I need to see which ones I want to do. The problem is that you are gone for a real good portion of the day though because all the traveling and you are on your own with food and drinks while off the resort.

Do any of the excursions involve a line? I need a line the day of the show to really get ready. And I mean an actual line-up of people, not a line of coke. Just let me line up for seats, merch, a glass of water, something...
    you enjoy standing in lines?

We are heading to OBH a day early. Plan is to check out the resort...if any excursions look good, we will try to book. If sold out, go to bar.

I hope cowboys aren't in super bowl. that's only thing that could ruin this trip

Pj20 set the bar high for concert trips, but this is better.

Mmj opener. Haha. Amazing setlist last night.

Ah, just posted in the other OBH thread. Not going to repeat myself but yeah... Last year it 100% convinced me that MMJ was the best live band out there and after a year break that still hasn't changed. Just the best damn time you can have.

Agree with all of this. Other than my hawaiian honeymoon, best trip I have been on. Four days of live music really couldn't be set up any better. Fucking amazing.

Gave Band of Horses a shot, even though I won't ever be a huge fan, they were way better than I was expecting.

For me Dr Dog was my second favorite act. Being from Philly, I'm embarrassed that it was my first time seeing them. Their set was fantastic. Will definitely be checking out their future shows.

What a week. Cannot wait for next year.

Tour getting announced tomorrow. It's not likely they play it, but Wilco's Solid Sound festival is announced tomorrow as well. If MMJ plays that then Wilco will be at OBH3.... I think I'd shit my pants.

Guessing more will come shortly.... That's the oddest schedule I think I've ever seen. No chance they only do one night at Red Rocks plus there's a ton of major cities left off. Weird cities to have 2 night runs.

Either that or the fall tour will bring down the hammer.

New MMJ is always a blast.

Anybody find a place to preorder the vinyl and get the single? Not paying the ridiculous shipping from their website.

Really looking forward to the ridiculously early leak like the last two albums.

In the past the general public sale has sometimes gotten better tix. The real benefit comes into play in small venues with GA because you get in before everyone else so you can get up front.

And looks like that will be the only Red Rocks show judging by the calendar. Although they said more dates after the Euro shows sobit looks like the fall tour will be where it's at.

I have a few friends in KC or possibly could fly down for the Atlanta shows but aside from driving to MPP I think I will wait.

Really wanted to avoid a festival show, but looks like Boston Calling will be all I can do. I assume that prevented them from doing any other shows in New England. The 3 night Chicago run is going to be insane.
