one more sleep for me, kids! I was lurking through the MMJ forums looking at this tours posters and someone posted the Alpheretta show up early. Kinda bummed as I always like seeing them in person at the merch stand for the first time. I dig but not the best of the tour. Any of you all grab a gig poster from the show? Here's tomorrow's:

Thanks to Mr. Fenway Faithful, I was able to secure the poster from Boston. Its pretty sweet. Im becoming quite the Guy Burwell fan if I must say so myself... http://www.expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/140282
I also think that if you were lucky enough to have attended the T5 At Dawn show and get that poster (also Guy Burwell) they'd look fucking sweet side by side. http://www.expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/127374
However, I was not, and certainly cannot afford to start buying posters for shows I have not attended...so I think the Boston 2011 MMJ poster is going to go in the same room as my Hartford PJ 2010, which I plan on using a green matte for... http://www.expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/122198. Greens/Tans...I think they'll look good together
Debating on a matte color for the Boston MMJ poster. I think It would look nice w/ a wood frame for sure. Maybe that purple color that is in the poster for the matte?

Very nice Twisted...I was hoping for either a Burwell or a Reno (I'm not familiar with his work but I've loved his posters this tour). And this one's certianly growing on me. Tough choice there on the matte color. I think if you choose a colored matte that you're right, either that faint purple or even the gold/brownish color. It may even look great with no matte at all in a nice frame since you have the white space around the image. Kind of same dilemma for the Alpheretta print since orange is such a dominating color in the print. Very jealous of your Hampton print, it was definitely the most unique of the tour.
I'll post my show review for yall Sunday :P

I know that this probably varies by venue, but has anyone been able to take in a poster tube to keep it safe during the show? I've got tickets for the front pit in Charlotte and I really don't want it to get beat up. Every Pearl Jam show I've been to has been seated so a few rubber bands normally do the trick.

At the Boston show I was able to buy a poster rolled, rubber banded, and bagged. Not sure if they're doing that every show, but it was quite the service!

Definitely this. St Lou and Indy had run of 100. Good news is they're all s/n

Have you come across a picture of the Indy poster? I didn't check the merch tents and have not been able to find one on the internet.

That's awesome. I've got plenty of spare poster tubes so if they shoot me down it won't be a big deal.
If anyone comes across a Boston Burwell poster could you shoot me a PM? I have been checking his site and ebay, but nothing yet. Don't own any of his prints, but it seems like they are in high demand. Understandable because it seems like he does great work. Much appreciated.

I have the Burwell poster from the Radio City show and I love it! Still need to frame it though...

any update on the Boston recording? I think the person who recorded it said they were going to put it up on Traders Den. You have to be a member to use that site...

My first MMJ experience didn't go exactly as I had hoped last night in Charlotte. A storm that came through right before they were going to go on delayed the start by about 45 minutes and there was a strict noise ordinance/curfew at 11:00. So not only did we miss out on a bunch of songs, there was no Neko duet which was the main reason I opted for Charlotte (3 1/2 hours away) instead of Charlottesville (1 hour away) since she's not opening Charlottesville. The show was still phenomenal, but I can't help but have a slight feeling of disappointment.
I know I will have chances to see them again but the Neko opportunity will probably never happen again other than tomorrow night in Philly.

was there a poster for the show last night?
Yes. The best I can describe it is that it was a hand with a keyhole in the middle of it. Not bad but not great either. I can try taking a picture later on if it doesn't show up anywhere else.

yea, I heard about that...really sucks. But I did hear that they still put on a high energy set. Well it can only get better next time right?
The Charlottesville VA show tomorrow night better not be cancelled!!!!!!!!!!!
honestly, i think i'd rather have them cancel the show and hopefully reschedule, than have what happened in Charlotte. Late start, short set, full price. Nah...no thanks.
