I think archive.org still has all their shows on there. I had a bunch downloaded at one time. Need a new MMJ album soon.

Thanks! Now, what are the "DR" shows?
Dominican Republic Shows. From One Big Holiday, annual MMJ Destination concerts.

boots from DR sound great. it's nice to relive those 3 shows again.
were these free downloads? I saw some people post it in the MMJ facebook fan page but wasn't 100% sure. Maybe i should look at my account.
Only "free" if you went to OBH4.

I'm so lost on MMJ nowadays I don't even know what youre talking about...
... was there talk of a new album?
Is an european tour happening soon?
Jim has a new solo album "Uniform Distortion" coming out at the end of June. There was supposedly enough material left from The Waterfall sessions for a 2nd record, and there is also a rumored live album in the works. They are taking the year off and working on solo projects, and hopefully some new MMJ music. One Big Holiday was their only scheduled event for 2018... there won't be any more dates until next year.

I've never managed to see My Morning Jacket live. I can't remember if they ever even came to Ireland. However, when their record Circuital came out I really got into that one. They had been on my radar as ones to check out for a while, after they popped up on Immagine In Cornice doing A Quick One, While He's Away with Eddie. I really ought to do a deep dive into more of their stuff soon because anything I've heard I've really dug a lot. Someone once told me that my band sounded like them. When I raised my eyebrows, they realised that they were wrong and had in fact meant My Bloody Valentine. To me this was a bigger compliment, I guess. Having said that, take the praise when you can get it I suppose. Anyway, do they organise these shows in the Dominican Republic themselves every year, like is it their creation?

If anyone had luck this afternoon with Jim James tix at rough trade in NYC and has an extra please let me know.
Will Jim James record an album at Rough Trade, like Ryan Adams did? I'm unfamiliar with Rough Trade other than the RA live record that came out last year.

The pre-sale code is pretty easy to find if you are a fan and know where to look. If you're on the MMJ mailing list, it was sent out this morning & they are putting it up on all of the social media platforms...so I really don't think posting it on another bands website will lessen your chances of scoring tickets if you REALLY want them!!
I've never had trouble scoring tickets to a MMJ show and have seen them almost as many times as I've seen PJ.
Going to try for Queens. Red Rocks is great but I’ve seen them there. I also haven’t been to NY since I was a kid.
You'll LOVE Forest Hills Stadium...GREAT venue!! I saw MMJ there in July of 2017 & it's one of my favorite shows!! Can't pass up the 2 back to back nights at Red Rocks this time.
