I remember hearing how MTV would only play that at night when it came out.

I will know I have arrived at a point of peace and contentment when I can either at least set my clocks and leave them be or, better yet, give them all away and live by sun and moon time.

The cows? We're confusing me! That's what matters.

It's always a double edge sword. Lose an hour of sleep but it gets darker later and vice versa with Spring.
  • Now for the next 7 weeks it will be dark when I get off work. This is horseshit.

In the scheme of things and life, that one hour is inconsequential.

Surely people can get over it; takes usually a week.

Still, I fucking love the confused cows comment.

Not that I fucking love that cows'd be confused, but the comment itself.

And yes, time (haha) to be done with this practice.

I vote every Sunday we set the clocks back 1 hour.
Yeah, high noon may be pitch dark for a few weeks, but it is worth it that extra hour of sleep going into Monday!

Most would consider this gaining an hour. It will be light out 1 hour longer after the time change (and yes, come up 1 hour later in the morning-so no real net change in daylight) but since so few are up and out that early, most see it as gaining an hour instead of losing. That's why I am confused as well about that comment.

Yeah... I don't know how losing an hour equates to gaining an hour. Haha

I personally think that people piss and moan far too much about DST.
    Get the fuck over it.
I got 7 hours of sleep last night, I will get 7 hours of sleep tonight, what the BFD???
There are definite advantages and disadvantages, but nothing worth the collective mass of puling about it!
