Wait this is happening? When? Can it not?
that one hour of sleep makes a huge difference for someone who has issues sleeping. And yea, my cats are not bothered with the time change either. They still wake me up when they want food and take over my bed when they want to sleep there.

I completely sympathize with sleep issues: I've had sleep issues since the time change in November, so I am actually hoping this will somehow correct the situation. One can hope.
by the way, you look fantastic in your new avatar picture.
see? I would never steer you wrong.

I LOVE daylight savings time! Now that we've turned the clock up, I don't think we should turn it back in the fall. Who the fuck wants to come home from work and it's already dark at 5:30? I love that it's daylight longer in the evenings. Now, let's leave it be.

There's no reason to turn it back in the fall now. They did that so farmers could harvest their crops in the daylight, but tractors and farm equipment all heave headlights now.

Think of all the energy saving it would create in the winter. You wouldn't have to turn lights on in your house so soon, you could keep the heat down a few degrees until it gets dark, etc.

This spring ahead is really messing with my insomnia....

    uh no.

we change our clocks in a challenging more fun way. we spin 'em randomly 1798 times a year & do not allow full hrs, there must be at least 37 min minimum in difference. its never 6am around here. 6am is 12:57pm. then we spin it to screw things up again. this is so much fun

I usually hate it getting dark at 5, but I have not been able to take the mornings recently. 6:45 looks like 3 am. It's brutal

Cliffy, sort of the same here - I'm up early during the week, so it mentally helps when it's not pitch-black out at 5am. And it heralds in my favorite time of year, so no complaints here!

Get to catch the sunrise from home, and dusk from work. Win-win.

I like sleeping in the extra hour, I do not like that when I leave work at 4pm, it feels like 6 pm...especially with the overcast gray days we have now.

I must point out that daylight savings is ENDING, so this is what it is supposed to be 'normally'.

While I wish other states would follow Arizona's screw-you lead, it really fucks with timing of my dealings with our Phoenix office.

I drove through (I think it was) Illinois one time and every county was allowed to accept or decline the time change so throughout the day the the time kept changing. It was like going through half a dozen wormholes.
