yeah this is odd. We were thinking of going to the game, but decided not, but it looks like the upper tier of the stadium is empty. Normally there would be more Mexican fans.
And US is just not playing well. Good thing there is a lot of time to figure things out before World Cup qualifying.
Yeah, I was planning on going as well. This is a terrible crowd though. Lower level isn't close to full and the upper level is pretty much empty. I was hoping to go, but was on vacation last week and this is my only night of the week not traveling for work.
Brutal showing. Strange team though.
agree with both of you. need to start holding these games in actual soccer stadiums.
Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight
Sammi: Wanna just break up?

well, we had 3 U2 shows in three weeks, then went to see ManU Vs. Barca in Wash DC, so we were not up for another hot day in a stadium. Kind of glad we didn't go looks like a dull game. Last year we went there and saw US vs. Turkey and the place was packed and it was a great game.
Damn, yeah, that is a busy few weeks. Sounds like a blast though. US v. Turkey was another one I missed, was out of town, heard it was a great time though.
We were looking at that and the funny thing is, the nicer end of the field was where the stage was. But the entire field was covered by an aluminum floor, so its hard to say if that is what ruined it.
and yes a crap call by the ref, but that Mexican player took a gamble and won, only got a yellow.

far cry from soldier field though.

I didn't even realize it was from that. That's horrible. Fuck that.
About as easy as it gets for Rogers. Hell of a set up.
Awful. Just plain awful.
FIFA officiating is such a fucking joke.
Sammi: Wanna just break up?
Unreal. I know officiating can be questionable with MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA. But it doesn't get much worse than FIFA.

7 penalties in 2 games. Every goal scored.
Sammi: Wanna just break up?
Wow. Haven't seen that yet.
It's the most popular game in the world, but also the most corrupt game in the world.
Quatar has the world cup, enough said.
Tennis is pretty corrupt too.
Sammi: Wanna just break up?
Please explain.

Haven't there been several scandals for tennis matches being fixed? I know there was a pretty serious one in the last couple years...
There was the Davydenko one from 2007 but was never confirmed.
