    damn...I had to dig to find this thread :roll:

    I scouted our boys in person this weekend. The good news? the weather and the beer. The bad news? The "offense" and Timmy.

    Saturday, Vogelsong and two relievers throw a one hitter. Awesome, except that we were still tied 0-0 heading into the 7th. At that point. I think the G's had left 7 on base and grounded into 3 DPs. Luckily, they finally strung some hits together and got a decent win.

    Sunday sucked. We give Timmy a 2-0 lead and he gives it up and can't even get into the 5th inning against an absolutely AWFUL A's lineup. I swear, I'll bat the aggregate BA for this group of no-names is probably .230. Timmy couldn't put anyone away and threw a ton of pitches in the process. It was brutal to watch. Remember when giving Tim a 2-0 lead meant game over? Not anymore. It wouldn't shock me if he is d-o-n-e :shock: . The offense also looked like crap. After loading the bases in the 4th(?), the next two batters were punched out LOOKING at strike 3. At one point, 4 of 6 outs were called out looking.

    I'm afraid this isn't going to be our year...the fucking dod*ers just may go wire to wire :x

    on the bright side, I already sold saturday's giveaway hats on ebay for $50 :thumbup: :lol:

    Do you think Lincecum is wishing he'd taken a long-term deal in the offseason? That rumored 4-year deal for $80 million is probably looking pretty good to him right about now.

    one of my prevalent thought's during sunday's game was "damn, he's costing himself some money." if he's not at a crossroads yet, he's getting damn close.... :think:
