I caught their show at the Hangout music festival and i've seen them before but they were on fire that day. Particularly the last 40 minutes of their set. Pure bad ass.

I saw Patterson after the show was over leaving the stage headed back to their truck and he had a half gallon of jack in his hand and looked like he was ready to party :D

One of my fav shows of the weekend.

During the Boise show Shonna was hittin a half-gallon of Jack in between songs. Straight from the bottle.

Now THAT is a woman.

As to the Cooley question raised on the board, the talk from the band was always been that Cooley is one of the slowest song-writers on the planet....similar words I heard/or seen written straight from Stroker Ace himself. He think he said it would take about 11 years or so for him to write the material for a solo album.

"The Secret to a Happy Ending" was one of the best, if not the best, rock doc that I have ever seen. Actually respected the band more after seeing the film....which is saying a lot considering my positive feelings beforehand.

All praises to "Zip City"......a to-die-for live experience.

I just bought the vinyl/CD combo of Patterson Hood's Murdering Oscar (And Other Love Songs), and I must say it is quite good.

Definitely a worthy pick up for any DBT (Patterson heavy) fan.
