Sorry, don't mean to champion Muse but check out Haarp on dvd. It's Wembley, headlined, sold out, spectacular and two nights running. They're fucking huge here, honestly. Pearl Jam are small fry in comparison. Sad but true :(
Like a book among the many on a shelf...

    Dublin 02 Arena - 22/6/10. Belfast Odyssey Arena - 23/6/10. London Hyde Park - 25/6/10. Berlin Wuhlheide - 30/6/10.
    Manchester MEN - 20/06/12. Manchester MEN - 21/06/12

this is true but were talking the Uk here. Robbie fucking Williams sold out knebworth like 4 nights running, oasis could sell out anything, but overseas both are considered shit

the Uk Market is so poor it's an extremely bad benchmark to use.

Quality sadly doesn't rise to the top here, just usually all the shit the kids and girlies like

I don't see what people are complaining about personally - $25 per year, without receiving anything would be cheap - we get a single and a mag, and access to tix - and the tix are really not any dearer than buying them from the ticket outlets - the early entry more than justifies the extra $10 or $20. And as for shipping costs etc - I have bought stuff from other online places and it's really not bad here - comparitively it's either cheaper or the same, so its fine. Also 10c have been nothing but helpful to me, with ANY query I've had, and they were AWESOME with my personal ticket issues for the Perth show, and I echo some others sentiments about how under the pump they must be with so many insane people (I mean that in the nicest way possible btw), emailing them about all sorts of shit everyday. I mean come on - they cannot please everyone. I have met some wonderful people on here, and love it - it's an awesome place and the really small annual cost is totally and utterly worth it. If you don't like it, then exercise a bit of free will and leave. It's really pretty simple. Personally - I think keep up the good work - sure, like any business there will be issues from time to time, but they are HUMAN. It happens.
  • how ridiculous. I've posted this in other threads, but here goes again. I live in Canada, so the 10C tickets mean nothing to me (since they play here once a frickin' decade), and I STILL feel as though I'm getting a fantastic deal. A cool magazine, a Christmas vinyl for free, 10C-only deals. $20 CDN.

If you think that's a ripoff, then you can suck it. Don't renew. It's that goddamn simple.

Some of you people think PJ and/or the 10C owe you something for being a fan of the band for x amount of years. Screw off. You're a fan of the band because you get something out of it. No one owes you shit.

Could NOT have said it better myself!!! :D:D

    yawn
The 10c is not perfect, but it is what it is.
People are so impatient-the dates will come, they wont be playing where you want, the servers will crash at least once-and many people will not get tickets even though they had them in their cart ;)

Ever think that perhaps the band does not want you to travel long distances for their shows?

I tend to overlook all of the 10C shortcomings when I am in my 10C seats seeing and hearing the best rock band on the planet.

Get real. Muse can't sell out a large venue by themselves. The last time I heard they were playing Philly a few years ago it was at Penn's Landing, which is just above the level of a large club.

You wanna look into that again?

 I saw Muse on the Absolution tour and they were absolutely amazing but I must have given them the kiss of death or something because they've been on the slide ever since and I can't stomach the last two albums. I believe they have forums on microcuts.net completely dedicated to discussing their music and shows etc.. Yes thats microcuts.net for all your Muse discussions.... :D

Black Holes is a great album in my opinion....not much on the new one though....they went kind of goofy like Rush's "Caress of Steel"

The 10C may not be perfect, but neither are it's customers.

Do people expect the world for $15?

Even when the 10C does good by us, people still cry and complain.

People ask for months and months of advance notice for shows, but this is not always possible. Imagine if they issued tentative dates, and those dates didn't happen; some people would demand that the band reimburse them for unused travel expenses!

A good business relationship needs mutual respect. The customer ISN'T always right!

If the 10C isn't the first to announce a festival appearance, it is usually because of a contractual obligation that allows the promoter to be the first to announce it.

Again, the 10C isn't perfect, but there are reasons, to which we are not privy, why they sometimes withhold information.

I am happy that I get seats in the 1st 4 rows for every show I attend...without the 10C, such seats would be impossible, especially in major markets. Anything else is gravy!

I have a theory, the more you spoiled brats complain the less they feel like sharing with us.

And why the fuck do people STILL think the Ten Club is the one that plans the tours. They are not, they pass along the info. Take it up with Curtis and his people/promoters.

All you bitchers and moaners do us all a favor and don't renew. See the rest of you on the next 'tour'...

i know i would do this...what's the point of communicating with people that will complain anyway?

i always laugh when people blame the fan club for the tours...funny in a sad, pathetic way
